  1. Yup. Those books introduce the concept as well as any.
  2. I haven't booked the hotels yet but I'll be in Tokyo from the 4th till the 10th.
  3. Sounds like there is a bit of a following already. Hopefully get to meet up with some of you SAU interstate'ers when I'm there. Elrodeo might have to take you up on that!
  4. Well the date has just been announced. Is anyone off here going this year? I have never been but I'll be in Tokyo around that time so I'm hoping to make it down. Does anyone know if the tickets go on sale online?
  5. I have an AE93 Corolla as my daily atm. It's been bloody reliable and gets 6.8L/100km out of every tank on E10 even. Oh and insurance is dirt cheap!
  6. ^ I don't think I'd trust any suspension shop without a shock dyno.
  7. Clean all the rust off the face of the wheel hub. Every last but of it. Also get a straight edge and check for any high spots. File these off. Get yourself a dial indiactor and stand and measure the runout on the hub alone and the rotor and hub as one. If brand new rotors aren't under 0.002mm of runout then I wouldn't be satisfied.
  8. Are they cheaper than RDAs? The last batch of RDAs I got are cast about 5mm off centre. Ridiculous for the $280 or whatever they charge for 296mm ones.
  9. Never heard of them. How much are they?
  10. People have to start somewhere. It's not rocket science. And yes I agree on not trusting the stock knock sensor filtering. The actual stock knock sensors are fine though.
  11. How much can you get the pure Ethanol for if you don't me asking and which supplier is it from?
  12. Cheap magic solution? I was talking in regards to using CoPilot with an existing FC Datalogit box.
  13. Gonna bump this. Has anyone tried using this lately? It's come a long way.
  14. There's some info on the Winton website about a "Skylines Victoria" day on the 30th of October. I assume this is SAUVIC. (I don't know of any other Victorian Skyline clubs?) Did this fall through?
  15. Wait.. So is this not on? "24 Sat - SAU Vic Track Club Championship - Winton"
  16. Strange race. Kobayashi was great. Good to see an F1 driver trying for once.
  17. Who said they'd make the limit 140 everywhere? Re-read what Skaife said. He said on specifc roads which are designed by European engineers for 200kph+. (eg. Eastlink)
  18. Which roads are you referring to? Eastlink, Monash Freeway and the Eastern are all amazing.
  19. I dont get you. There clearly is a point... For the anti-squat. That's the whole reason for doing the subframe swap in the first place! The difference is like night and day. I've done it back to back on a circuit S13. Plenty of companies make offset spacers for the conversion. PoweredByMax aren't pioneers in this field by any means...
  20. No the S13 subframe is identical to a non-HICAS R32 subframe. The S14/R33 onwards have the revised frame with the modified anti-squat. It's the angle of the LCA which determines this; not the diff angle. The diff ango will make no difference whatsoever to suspension geometry.
  21. Just throwing it out there... Is it possible because Vettel's left tyres were on the marbles that when he applied the brakes the car veered to the right somewhat?
  22. It's Japanese for 'kilo-gram.' It got lost in translation.
  23. Does anyone have any details of how modified Wayne's blue 180SX was? I was extremely impressed with that time.
  24. Just deposited $150 for 3 tickets and pm'ed you.
