  1. If it's dead syncros, how to fix the problem? Are there any kit replacements out there?
  2. Ever since I had the ER34, it crunches on fast upshift to fifth. It's now running on Redline MT-90 75W 90 transmission oil but still experiences the same. It's getting very irritating and effects my driving concerntration. I will not crunch if I takes take time slot into fifth from fourth but that makes me lose time and also drops to revs too much once I shift into fifth. Are there any solution for this issue? Many thanks.......
  3. Just removed mine. It's the wrong part. God damn it.....
  4. Hi. Am planning to change the rear wheel bearing on the ER34. I got the below part with the number 43210-AA100. Problem is one shop I went to says it's the wrong part and another is not too sure either. Has anyone here changed the bearing before? And if so, are the below parts correct?
  5. You guys reckon which route I should take (can't afford a standalone) Option 1 Walbro fuel pump and a fuel regulator Option 2 A piggyback fuel management, eg. SAFC or SAFC NEO Thanks.
  6. Ok. So Walbro GSS-342 it is. I just scanned my dyno chart for comments. Look at the bottom graph for the AF ratio. The blue line from the top down is my AF ratio. The red broken line represents 12.2. Am I running dangerously lean? HELP!!!
  7. What is the difference between the GSS-342 and GSS-341? Are both also "high pressure" pumps?
  8. What model of Walbro shall I be looking at for the ER34? Any other alternatives? Sard? Nismo? Tomei? Cost and function wise? Many thanks for your advice.
  9. DECIM8, yea noted on those used factory BNR34 fuel pump. They may be on its way out too. Ok, so a new pump is definitly better. Are those from Walbro good enough? I am running stock turbine. Actually, would a piggy back fuel mangement, say a S-AFC solve my problem or a new fuel pump is the way to go? Fuel regulator isn't necessary?
  10. Hi. My ER34 is running pretty lean at high revs (boosting at 0.8) as data was shown via a dyno. The car is running on stock ECU and I have no plans to upgrade to an aftermarket ECU due to budgetary concerns. My question is. Could I run a bigger fuel pump (perhaps a factory BNR34 unit) and a fuel regulator to curb this problem? Or would there be no difference due to the factory ECU has already maxed out the injectors? Thanks for your comments.
  11. So far with lower boost it's ok but got to take it to the highways to be sure. If it happens again, guess got to lower it further. Darn!
  12. NA_Goodness, the rotors are Project Mu SCR-PRO. Stagecoach, initially I was aftering the Endless Rotors (they are blue), thus the blue would match. In then end, I ended up with Project Mu. But I do have other blue bits to match, the Ray Engineering lug nuts are blue (looks green in the pic tho). My engine cover is blue too but of course that isn't visible.
  13. Ok. Will try to source for some screws then.
  14. This is how I did mine.
  15. I got a pair of Ganador Super Mirror SM-26FBL off a BNR34 and stumble upon some issue on fitment. The stock mirrors have screws on it that fastens onto the car via 3 nuts. The Ganador versions have holes for 3 screws to be fasten with. Anyone can help? STOCK MIRROR GANADOR MIRRORS
  16. Yes it is on stock ECU. So what is the ECU doing? Cutting fuel supply? What can I do besides changing to an aftermarket ECU. Would love a Power FC but the cost is just too high for me now.
  17. I'm not exactly sure what is happening to my ER34 but let me describe some details..... The ER34 (Turbo) experiences power cut on high revs. I've had it happened on 4th gear @ 5,000rpm around 130km/h and at times at lower rpm. Thus it is not easily replicable. The car started to have these cuts after the boost was upped using HKS EVC IV. Highest recorded boost now is 0.78 The car has a straight pipe, cat-back exhaust, open pod, and uses NGK Iridium Iriway 7 plugs. What is happening to my ride? Boost cut? Fuel cut?
  18. I have a set of R34 LED rear lights (2 Door) for sale. The item is used and obtained direct from Japan. Not sure of the brand but the design looks like the D-Max version (http://www.dmax-cs.com/parts/lens/r34/r34.html). Asking for $380 delivered via courier. Anything pls PM me. NC/NR. Thanks.
  19. The trailer is out. Check it out ..... Evolusi KL Drift Trailer
  20. Wondering is a BNR34 radiator would fit in a GTT? Any idea? PS. Sorry to hijack this thread.
  21. Was looking at the Do-Luck Rear Tension Set. Seems like the application may be for the BNR34 only. Any idea if that is the case OR it will fit the ER34 as well? Can't seem to find a pic on the net installed on the ER34. Does anyone here has any or had experiences with it in an ER34?
  22. m3gtr, yes they are real cops! arbess, the RX-7 is a "joined" vehicle. It's not road legal anyway. Some pics and a vid here: http://er34.blogspot.com/2007/06/er34-in-e...rift-movie.html
  23. Nice pics!!! Are the Super GT and the NISMO BNR32 in the workshop next to the tiny NISMO showroom? Must have been shopping in Crystal eh?
  24. 8" and 9" respectively. More pics and info in my blog: Work Emotion XD9
