Ok noted. I heel toe-ed when I downshift and that's when the lock occured.

My ER34 wheels sometimes will lock for a sec when I down shift (say from 4th to 3rd) to enable engine braking. Is this normal and why is it so?

nuffsaid, 345mm all round is it the pre-set setting from the factory? I did not adjust the height. Just bolted it on from the box. As for damping, you mentioned 12 clicks from the hardest setting. All round, as in front and rear? That means mine is Front 9 clicks from the hardest (17 from the max soft) and Rear is 10 clicks from the hardest (20 clicks from the softest). How's this setting in your opinion?

n15m0, yea the rear turns 30 times and front 26 times. Weird, dunno how it adds up to 16 levels of adjustment. I adjusted mine to 20 clicks at the rear and 17 up front. As for height I leave it as factory present. I understood that is the best recommended setting.

Hi all, Just obtained a set of Tein Super Street Damper with Pillowball Uppermounts (Part No. GSN62-B1SS3). The set is brand new and comes from the factory with a preset adjustment to height and damping. My queries are:- 1) What are the factory setting? 2) What settings are best for normal + enthusiatic street use? 3) What settings are more suited to track usage? The BNR34 are offset 30. Think the wheels will be jutting out from the car in an ER34.

Oh darn then. I'll have to purchase 2 sets of 6" for the front and rear. And what shall I do with the 5" front from my previous car? Maybe I'll just use the stock speakers first and fit in my HU. Sigh....

How many litres of engine oil are required? What are you guys using? What is the oil filter part no.? 2) What is the recommended viscosity of the differential oils? What are you guys using? 4) What is the spark plug gap that the GTT requires?
