  1. as above says... i have an RB25 turbo that i just pulled of the front cut i got... came off motor with 63000kms on it and hasn't been run since... it has next to no shaft play, doesnt come with oil or water lines but does come with rubber intake pipe and statndard dump pipe... located in Rockingham, WA... enquiries to 0414 166 682. cheers...

  5. ok now i've still got a heap of this VL **** that i dont need anymore so make an offer on it coz i just want it gone... -Brand new ET head, with cleaned and recond valve gear, rocker gear and cam, cam gear, cam cover, etc... $500ono -recond To3 turbo(unused since recond) $500ono -custom 3" s/steel split dump pipe $200ono -inlet manifold/ plenum complete with pretty much everything except injectors $200ono -VLturbo coil pack with 6 leads $100ono -standard RB20DET intercooler with some piping $50ono this is all very good quality gear... all came off an RB30ET that had only just clicked over 100,000km's...if your interested in any these parts please PM me or call me on 0420 234 576... parts are available for pickup anytime from rockingham... cheers i also have a whole heap of R31 and S13 bits and pieces including standard R31 swaybars, lower control arms and hubs, standard S13 front struts and lots of other ****...   7. hey everyone... i finally got around to pulling my RB30 apart and now half of it is up for sale... at this stage i am looking to sell it as a package but may consider separating it if it doesn't generate enough interest... the package will include the following: -BRAND NEW ET head, with cleaned and recond valve gear, rocker gear and cam, cam gear, cam cover, etc... -recond T3 turbo(unused) with custom 3" s/steel split dump pipe -inlet manifold/ plenum complete with pretty much everything, fuel rail/ reg/ injectors, thermostat housing, all sensors, etc... -VLturbo dizzy with 6 leads -standard ET exhaust manifold -standard VLTurbo ECU this is the perfect setup for anyone with a NA RB30 looking to make some more ponies... it is available to be picked up anytime from rockingham and i am looking for $2500 ono... plaese call 0420 234 576 for more info or PM me... most reasonable offers will be considered... cheers
  8. i have checked the fuel pressure and the reg... it all seemed fine... had about 45ish PSI on idle and cruisin and spiked up to 65ish PSI when coming onto boost... from what i've been told thats normal...
  9. thanks for all your ideas guys... i've still got the problem and its now a little worse... i had a Walbro 550hp intank fuel pump fitted and now its mega overfuelling... I'm gettin pretty fed up with it now so i've gone out and bought a Microtech ECU and i'm just gonna fit that and start from scratch... i've done basically everythin except ECU... the plugs, coils, alternator, AFM, ignition module, I/C piping and fuel pump have all been covered so i think this is my last straw... I'll let you all know if i have any luck...
  10. hey guys... i'm still having problems... i replaced my plugs the other day with the gaps set to 0.6mm... I also pulled all my coil packs out, checked them, and taped them all up. I also replaced the ingition module on top of the cam covers and it has all made no difference... It still dies in the ass as soon as it starts coming onto boost!!! i'm gonna pull my fuel pump out next and upgrade that as one of my mates had the same problem and he said thats what fixed his... but other than that... any1 esle got any more ideas???

The ignition module is next on my list then the rest of the coilpacks but if that doesn't fix it then i don't know what i'm gonna try... its weird coz it idles fine and mostly revs fine when in nuetral, just when driving it and trying to boost it up its got nothing... (except huge backfires and flames...)
  12. Hey everyone... My RB20DET is f**ked at the moment... Well in most aspects its fine, just when it starts coming onto boost it loses all power and backfires like a shotgun... When taking off and driving slowly with boost pressure in vacuum its fine but as soon as you put the foot down it dies in the ass... I've replaced 2 coil packs, the AFM, the o2 sensor, o/hauled alternator, checked fuel pressure, pump and reg. Can anyone give me any ideas on what might be causing this??? Its starting to do my head in...

  14. I'm havin the exact prob with my RB20DET also... When taking off and driving slowly with boost pressure in vacuum its fine... As soon as you go to boost it up it just looses power and starts broad minded persontereing then if you keep your foot into it it'll let off a huge backfire and a nice flame... I've got new platinum plugs, replaced 2 coil packs, o/hauled alternator, replaced O2 sensor, cleaned AFM and checked fuel pressure, pump and regulator... Its really starting to do my head in... I WANT BOOST!!!!
  15. Hey all... I'm havin some problems with my RB20DET thats in an R31... Its a silvertop RB20 from an R32 and its running the standard R32 ECU with basic mods such as FMIC, 3" exhaust and pod filter... I went through a huge puddle a few weeks back and ever since its just been problems... That day after going through the puddle, it started stalling when the revs were coming down as i was clutching in and braking to stop... The first few times it started staight back up but after a while it started being a real bitch and took a good cranckin as if it were flooded or out of petrol or somethin... The thought came to me that some of my coil packs or the ignition module got wet or somethin so i went and fuelled up the drove it around for a while... After about half an hour it seemed to be all sweet again so i drove around for the rest of the day... When i went to start it up the next day, it just fired up then died straight away... I pursisted with this until finally with a little bit of pedal pursuasion it spluttered to a steady idle... When i went to drive, it was fine whilst taking off and going slow with boost pressure still in vaccuum but as soon as i start to put my foot into and it starts coming onto boost i just lose all power and it starts broad minded persontering and fuelling up then usually lets of a big backfire with a nice flame... It is the same in all gears in all conditions... Recently i have replaced 2 coil packs, had the alternator overhauled, cleaned the AFM, checked all intercooler piping, replaced the O2 sensor and checked the fuel pressure, pump and regulator... Has any1 had similar problems or have any ideas on what the problem might be??? Its really starting to do my head in!!! Cheers every1...
  16. Yeah i have read some... Its just that its so damn big, there's so many different conversations about what i wanna know its all just a little confusing... Basically, i've got a perfectly good RB30ET block with f**k all km's on it, im planning on puttin the R32 RB25DE head on it with all aftermarket bolt on's... I just wanna know whether the E and ET blocks are basically the same and whether i just need to use the RB30E spec pistons to get the appropriate compression ratio??? If not, what would be best???
