  1. I've been an avid follower of your previous work, and this looks even more promising. Well done. *Subscribed.
  2. Ride height depending, your going to have to extend the camber arm a fair way to get 0 degrees. Ideally, you want to extend the traction arm the same amount, to keep the geometry/ bump steer the same. What's the car being used for, drag?
  3. I agree with you in part, but I did go in there with the intention of buying it. Thus, going in there with the cash. Hell, last time I was in there, I bought a pair of Willians harnesses. I have no qualms with RRG, they've been good in the past. However, the helmet I wanted wasn't in stock anyway, they only had flat black, w/o the hans posts. Being 2+ hours away, ment it was going to have to be ordered in and sent out anyway. I asked them if they were negotiable on price at all, and they barely budged. I said I would think about it over a coffee and it was only then that I looked up how much cheaper they were elsewhere.
  4. Did Kimi's Lotus have legit floor damage, or have they been dabbling in Red Bullesque flexible tea trays?
  5. If I got the 6258 and a manifold to suit, would would I have to convert the rear housing to a t3, or is it feasible to run a t25 housing on an rb? i.e. too much of a bottleneck not enough room etc.
  6. I don't mean to take away from all this big numbers talk, but what are peoples opinions/thoughts on a 6258 on a RB20? I'm currently running a 2530, would the 6258 be similar in response/spool?
  7. Haha. After going in to RRG and waving cash in their face, the deal that they were going to give me was more expensive than ordering it online elsewhere. It's not my fault they weren't competitively priced enough. And after taking to the guys at Racedeal.com at WTAC, they were very helpful and I was much happier to give them my hard earned.
  8. I went the KF3. I was very hesitant about ordering a helmet online, but after going to my local (2+ hours away) Revolution Racegear, I was able to try on the KF3 in two different sizes that they had in-store. I would recommend you do this, if possible, prior to ordering. Otherwise http://www.racedeal.com have an excellent returns policy with postage paid.
  9. Yeah, I hear you. Even the 'base' model arias are 2x-3 the price of the bell gear.
  10. Cheers. If you look carefully at the photos you can see some stickers from http://raceline-racewear.com.au/bell-helmets.html
  11. Anyone here been listening through Reflektor?
  12. It's only the ML Blue. The place I ordered it from did me a package deal but they didn't have the iridium visor. And to be honest, its killing me. The fact that I forked out all that money and that I didn't get exactly what I want...first world problems.
  13. See my post in the cool tools thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/325161-the-cool-tools-thread/page-17
  14. This arrived today.
  15. Thanks for sharing ^_^
  16. It was just this side of 1k. But obviously there's a lot of extras that aren't necessary. Like the mirrored, anti fog, multi layer visor, that was $200 on its own. I got a bit carried away in the end, clicking 'add to cart' on most of the available accessories.
  17. Decided, f**k it, and went all out. Got the HANS posts and all.
  18. Nothing wrong with the old oil stone.
  19. If you don't mind me asking, what have you done to alleviate the head lifting, running that high a boost pressure.
  20. Willing to take a deposit until I can drive down to Melbourne to pick it up? I'm 3+ hours away.
  21. Not really, unless you were running different compounds front to rear. But as people have mentioned, different pressures would.
  22. Agreed. We stated that some extra castor will help, it's not like we said to wind in as much as possible, even couple of degrees would be of benefit. Too much castor on a drift car equals positive camber on the inside wheel at opposite lock anyway. And although its been three years since my last drift day, I do try my best to 'feed' the wheel as much as possible, but i'm not as good at it as I would like to be.
  23. I would start by running some toe out on the front, that will help with turn in. Run some more positive castor and soften the dampers on the front (if fitted)
