  1. It looks as though it's leaking from the compressor housing, where the compressor 'head' bolts to the housing. It may just be leaking from the suction/discharge fitting o-rings on top of the compressor and leaking down. But more than likely it's the internal housing o-ring. Best bet is to take it to a Fridgy to confirm.
  2. No luck with JIS I take it?
  3. If it's a bubbling/gurgling noise then it will be air in your heater core caused by a coolant leak. If it's a low pitched hissing sound then the a/c system will be low. The noise occurs when there isn't enough charge in the system and you can hear the liquid/vapour expanding in the evaporator as it passes through the TX valve. A clunking sound behind the dash will be the servo/door blend motors/doors. The only way to check the charge of an A/C system is with a set of A/C manifold gauges. (assuming the system has no sight glass)
  4. When the A/C system is recharged, an ultra violet die is added to help find leaks. The dye is fluorescent yellow/green and when gas weeps out it takes the oil/dye with it giving the desired affect. It can often look like a coolant stain/leak.
  5. Steering knuckle to third link (marked with 'L'), third link to upper link front and rear (circled).
  6. That's not coolant. That's A/C oil/dye coming from your a/c compressor. R.E. the oil leak, try putting some silastic on the sump plug/washer next oil change.
  7. Same. I've been posting more frequently lately and it's getting hard to keep track of replies.
  8. If your worried about NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) don't fit aftermarket rose jointed Upper control arms. If you want more/less camber then install offset bushes. The bolts for the bushes should be done up in a laden position, preferable at ride height, with the vehicle on flat ground. However due to the position of the arms this may not be possible on a four post hoist. If using a two post hoist, they should be done up with a wind up jack under the Lower control arm to simulate the loaded position. Also if the camber is altered at all, it will also affect the castor and toe, so a wheel alignment should be carried out after any changes. Taken from the R34 workshop Manuel
  9. All R Chassis seats are interchangeable. They're very comfortable, while being very supportive. Once you sit in them you'll be sold.
  10. Have you considered R33 GT-R seat at all? *Quick Google search http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JDM-NISSAN-SKYLINE-R33-GTR-FRONT-OEM-SEATS-WITH-DOOR-TRIMS-SET-/140807318705?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20c8c52cb1&_uhb=1 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JDM-NISSAN-SKYLINE-R33-GTR-FRONT-OEM-SEATS-/140960671236?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20d1e92604&_uhb=1 http://www.skylinespares.com/spares_and_parts/nissan-skyline-r33-gtr-series-one-2-front-seats/
  11. R32 RB20DET and R33 RB25 DE = Same gearbox. Try this before you swap out boxes. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=17082
  12. The super streets are 4 kg F and R (see link). You will want to run some big sway bars, say 28mm front and 24mm rear to compensate for the softer spring rates. Or, potentially you could measure the spring rates of the HA's, swap out the springs in the SS's and calculate your sway bar size from there. For reference, i'm running the Super Drifts which have 7kg springs up front and 5kg rear. With 24mm front and 22mm rear sway bars the car is really well balanced. It has a lot of grip, transitions quickly and has a heap of drive. http://www.performance.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/tein-suspension-for/1991.08-1993.08-nissan-skyline-ecr32-gts-25-types/GSN18-B1SS3
  13. I have a R32 GTS-T bonnet, if your interested, in 326 - Crystal White.
  14. I'm not sure if the sense of speed is heightened due to the older sketchy footage, but it certainly looks a lot faster.
  15. They might have closed up for the Anzac day long weekend. Your best bet would be to give them a call during business hours.
  16. Loving the build. Could you tell us a bit more about the cooling system setup that your running and also the pedal box/ratios your using?
  17. No worries. I'm a mechanic and we have a 20 ton and a 50 ton press as work and I've gone through this process before when I had my knuckles modified for drifting.
  18. Why not just loosen the adjusting bolts and turn the crank slightly? *Edit: Never mind, I forgot about the VCT gear on the inlet.
  19. That's what I thought Terry, I've seen them advertised elsewhere, for double the asking price. Anthony did say he sent them an email, but i'm not sure how he got on. I quick search yielded this image on Google, is this the jacking point you were referring to?
  20. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=19333&cat=&page=1 If you want to pay postage to send them to Vic, I can do it for you.

  22. Yeah that would be your best bet. I was going to post a link to Justap as well, but their website was playing up at the time. Any decent mechanics/engineering place should be able to help you out.
  23. I hadn't seen your thread. But no, you will not be able to separate the hub/uprights without a press. http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/nissan-front-wheel-bearing-kit-genuine-nissan-300zx-z32-skyline-r32-2wd-r33-2wd-r34-2wd-p-303.html
  24. That looks excellent. What did you do to retain the speedo?
  25. Aren't the spring rates of the Super Streets 4kg F+R? I think you may find them too soft for drifting. What sway bars are you running?
