  1. With an ambient temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, and as a general rule of thumb, for the condenser to convert the superheated high pressure vapour from the compressor into a subcooled high pressure liquid at the condenser outlet, the temperature at the condenser inlet will be twice that of the ambient temperature. So, effectively, you create an ~ 50 degree heat sink in front of your radiator. As heat soak occurs at idle, the pressures and temperatures go up.
  2. Here's a pic of the peak values I recorded at a drift day at Winton in 30+ degree heat. Although the oil temp was creeping up a bit in the afternoon after continues hard laps due to not having to stop at the dummy grid, the brand new Federals were giving away before I would have to pit. Set up is as follows: RB20 making 220rwkw Trust front bumper. GT-R bonnet and grill. Custom bash tray/undertray Radiator air diversion plate. No A/C Greddy tube and fin intercooler Koyo 52mm radiator. RB25 fan shroud. Rb25 Neo clutch fan and hub. Nismo radiator cap. HKS oil cooler with re-locator kit mounted in the RHF bumper .

  4. What are the chances of the New Jersey GP going ahead next year?
  5. Along with seeing an Endocrinologist i'm also regularly seeing my GP, a Psychologist and a Dietitian. We're all working together to solve various issues I have, but it's only early days yet.
  6. I'm confident that I will be started on the TRT at my next appointment. We spoke about it at my last visit and he said If I was to start I would would be given the rub in gel. Unfortunately, the first place the weight gain was visible was around my mid section, so my abs are now less pronounced. But I know it's for the best.
  7. Basically i'm just trying to get my life sorted and get fit an healthy again. I obviously need to put on weight but i'm struggling to come to terms with the fat i've put on, which I attribute mostly to my meds. It would be nice to put on some extra muscle but without doing resistance training, which i have been advised against, and my very low T levels I guess it's just wishful thinking.
  8. I was in a similar situation. I went into the endocrinologist's office expecting to be started on TRT but after he weighed me at 55kg he told me not to come back until I was at least 60kg. I'm nearly there now and my next appointment is in 4 weeks so I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
  9. Food for thought perhaps. I'd say the swimming I do would be considered a combination of mid (120-150 bpm) to high (150-180 bpm) intensity. I'm on paroxetine. Oh, and I don't eat red meat.
  10. Cheers. Well, up until recently I had a BMI of 17. I've been put on anti-depressants and I have started putting on weight, but it's all fat. I have very low testosterone, which my endocrinologist attributes to my wight being so low, which makes it hard to put on any muscle. I've also been told that I shouldn't be doing any high impact exercise, and I just thought creatine may help.
  11. This may be off topic and pardon my ignorance, but generally speaking, if the only 'resistance' training I do includes swimming, push ups and sit ups, would I be wasting my time and money taking creatine monohydrate?
  12. It's the only GP I've been to, so I don't really have anything to compare, but I enjoyed it. I used public transport to get to and from Monza from Milan and it became a bit testing as the crowds grew. But you are right, Monza park is a massive venue and getting around can be a bit of a logistical nightmare. From a spectators point of view it was pretty poor. From any decent vantage point you could only really see a very small section of track and often without the big screens in view. And after going on to Paris after Milan it made me realise how much of a crap factory Milan was.
  13. If it helps, I got my 3 day general admin pass to Monza this year, from here http://italiangp.it/index.asp. Although I'm not sure if they're selling 2012 tickets just yet. Also, they only send out the tickets about a fortnight in advance of the actual race. So if you're already going to be overseas at this time, it's just something to keep in mind. Good luck. It's an incredible weekend. Oh and Webber ftw.
  14. Got this in the mail the other day. My 3 day pass to Monza.
  15. You can get spray can touch up paint from Nissan.
  16. Replace the gasket. Ensure the turbo and manifold flanges are flat. Fit new studs, nuts and locking tabs.
  17. You may have seen this already, but I thought it might interest you. Alpha 10 results
  18. That's the clutch slipping.
  19. Clutch slip?
  20. BB is right. If you want good turn in and a more direct feel, run more toe out on the front and more positive castor. If you want less steering input for more steering angle, you need to reduce the ackermann by modify the knuckles FWIW here's my front end setup. Camber: -4 Castor: +7 Toe out: 6mm out (total) 3mm each side. Moddified knuckles. 3 turns from lock to lock. Offset steering rack spacers. Ikeya Formula tie rods and tie rod ends. Cusco castor rods. Cusco front upper camber arms (5mm shorter) R33 LCA's with modified lock stops. Whiteline 22mm S/bar set to soft. Tein coilovers with dampening towards the softer side. Pics for reference.
  21. Fixed. The plug for the hand controller was loose and only just making contact. I didn't realise the computer had been moved from its original position since having the roll cage and side intrusion bars installed. The unit now resides under the carpet on the passenger side and after taking a passenger on the weekend (a rarity) it must have been knocked loose.
  22. Nissan don't use a gasket. You could make one up but silastic works fine. Just make sure the surface is flat and clean.
  23. Hoping for some help on this one. I have an AP engineering Power FC for my R32 with RB20DET. I've had the Power FC for approximately 12 months and haven't had any trouble with it, until today. Upon driving on very light throttle the exhaust overheating light flashed once for about 1 second. So i thought i would check the peak values on the hand controller (i keep it out of site) and i discovered that the hand controller is stuck on the Apexi logo? The last time i checked it, a track day last week, it was working fine. Now it obviously still has it's tune because the car is running fine even with the Z32 AFM, 555cc Nismo injectors etc. Has anyone heard of this happening, is it possible that my hand controller is fried?
  24. If you want extra lock for little outlay, get rack spacers (5mm). If you want even more lock, get some Tein/Ikeya Formula rack ends witch have extra thread to accommodate their bigger spacers (7mm). Or go the super Now Spacer. But if you are serious about lock, mod the knuckles.
