  1. After i broke my original speedo cable i replaced it with a second hand one and after installation i had the same problem with shacking at low speeds. It was an idication that it was on its way out, the cable gave way a few weeks later and i replaced it with a new genuine item from nissan. Problem solved. New speedo cable cost me $80.
  2. Red Line Synthetic ShockProof™ Gear Oil FTW! See here: http://www.redlineoil.com.au/Uploads/Downl...0TR%2002_03.pdf and here: http://www.redlineoil.com.au/technical-dat...sp?CategoryID=3 I got mine through a groupbuy on here some time ago, from Unique Autosports, but i doubt it's still going. Its quite expensive, but well worth the $$$. Good Luck
  3. Well I'm sold. You guys definitely know what your talking about when it comes to sliding 32's. I didn't know Whiteline made a 27mm front swaybar for 32's? Unless the R31 (BNF25Z), R33 GTS (BNF24X) swaybars fit? For future reference do you have the part numbers? all i can find for 32's is as follows: (F) "Swaybar-H/Duty Blade Adjustable BNF28Z 22mm" ® "Swaybar-X H/Duty Blade Adjustable BNR26XZ 24mm" From the Whiteline catalogue. Cheers
  4. I kept seeing them and they were very annoying. They would always be the second post in every thread. I'm not sure if its because of the way i have Firefox set up, in that it deletes all cookies when i close the browser which would effectively make me a guest when browsing the forums before i logged in?
  5. Hey, i was just wondering what people thought about using Cusco Swaybars for drifting, in regards to R32's? I always thought a stiffer rear would make the car more prone to oversteer but i read that some people are using Whiteline 24mm front and 22mm rear. Is it because of the cost difference (which is massive) or the lack of adjustability that people go with Whiteline?
  6. My brother who lives in New Zealand just sent me this scanned image of a local newspaper and i thought I would share it...
  7. Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I should have specified that the tyres were for the rear only. I had previously ran 205's on the front and 225's on the rear but decided this time to go with 205's all round. I ended up buying Continental Tyres. Has anyone else used these before? I was a bit sceptical as i haden't heard alot about them but they are of excellent quality and cars such as BMW and Mercedes come with them fitted from factory. They're very big in europe. They were $285 a tyre, marked down to $185 each on special and i got a deal so i got them for $175 each or $350 for both. I mentioned sidewall flex in terms of drifting. I'm hoping to enter in a Winton practice day the one after the kamakazi battle. I have a set of old 205's and a set of old 225's so i will be able to find out first hand the amonut of sidewall flex i do get if any. Cheers.
  8. Firstly, i know this is in the wrong section but i need an answer by tomorrow and there was only one person reading the suspension, breaking and tyres thread. I'm buying new tyres tomorrow and i want to know if fitting a 225/50/R16 tyre on stock 6" wide R32 GTS-T wheels is overkill? Will i get more grip or just more sidewall flex as apposed to a 205/55/R16 tyre which are fitted at the moment? Should i just stick with the 205's?
  9. Hey I recieved my boots very promptly. Communication was excellent and delivery prompt. But i must say i'm a lillte dissapointed with the quality of the product. The leather, is of questionable quality, and in order to fit the handbreak boot it needed to be modified and i snapped the wire very easily. I guess you get what you pay for. For the price there quite good but i think i'll stick with my old boots until i can afford some genuine ones. Thanks anyway. Tim.
  10. Hey Pablo i deposited the money into your account yesterday the 27th. Could you give a rough estimate as to when the boots might arrive? Thanks, Tim.
  11. Had the exact same problem when my speedo cable broke on my 32. Replaced the cable, problem solved. Cables are $80 from nissan. It runs from behind the dash clustter down through the fire wall and into the gearbox. Not sure about a 32 with a 25 in it though...whether you need a 33 or 32 cable. or even if a 33 uses a cable..?
  12. Hey mate i haven't got a camera on me at the moment but i'll try and get some pics posted up soon of my setup. That way i'll be able to explain everything alot clearer. I was in the same boat. Everything was working fine then it just happened. I blew a couple of fuses before i decided to run one headlight off of the other now everything works fine. To create a reley you need to splice the wires going to the working headlight and then run the wire across to the other headlight. But like i said i'll try and get some pics up soon. Goodluck.
  13. Hey mate i had the exact same problem in my R32 GTS-T. You need to run the left hand headlight off of the right hand one. Create a relay and your problem will be solved. It seems to happan with a lot of 32's.

  15. +1 For the plastic one in black. +1 for the leather one in black. So if i order 2 does that count for 2 people?
  16. Exactly. I Bet any track weapon with 1/4 the power would own that thing on the track. There's no use having that much power if you can't stop on a dime or put it to the ground.
  17. interested if sale falls through...
