  1. Hnnnng! Is that intercooler surround standard?
  2. I've had no trouble with the site, but I have been unable to 'connect to forum' using the SAU app for the past few days Even with version 3.9.15
  3. For someone who tends to their car so meticulously, I'm surprised you haven't done anything about the loose reflector in the drivers headlight When you do, please be sure to post up a tutorial, as mine is the same
  4. SRB isn't on here very often, but they were sold to me
  5. Yep, that's what I meant by adjusting the reo. Goodluck
  6. Are you still using www.skylinesaustralia.com? If so, log into www.sau.com.au
  7. Sorry, I didn't intend to raise any alarm bells, it may not be that bad. It might just require a bit of patience to get right. Assuming the bonnet and guards haven't been removed, how are the panel gaps between both sides, pretty equal? It's a bit hard to judge from the photos, but it does appear as though the drivers headlight is sitting 'in' a bit more than the passengers. Try and loosen the all mountings and see if you can't readjust them at all.
  8. Have you tried backing off and then adjusting the reo at all? Did the headlight bolt up okay? Rad support isn't a bit out?
  9. That was epic. Great race, especially the last few laps.
  10. I agree with jiffo on this one, in that, wiring in constant battery voltage will eventually burn out the coil. Stepping down the voltage is a good idea, and should increase solenoid life.
  11. I'm the same height as you, although admittedly smaller framed at 70kg, and I have no qualms with my (genuine) Bride seats. It might be worth seeing if you can get yourself in one to try it on. I know most guys here will scoff at this suggestion, but they are styled similarly to the standard seats, so if you're currently using the standard seats with a harness no worries, then it may be worth looking into. That or maybe a Recaro, considering the other popular brands didn't suit your needs.
  12. Wait until you price up the lower lip, just the lip costs more than the bumper!
  13. It looks like an Earls thermostat. http://www.earls.co.uk/earls/coolers/components/thermostats.html
  14. Where are you getting your coil packs from? As I know there are a few E-bay stores that advertise as being genuine, but are in fact copies. Just a thought.
  15. When replacing the globes, be sure not to touch the glass with your fingers. The oils on your skin create hot spots on the globe, which significantly reduces their life. Wear nitrile gloves or similar if touching the glass is unavoidable. I would also be ensuring that you have a nice, clean earth.
  16. Ideally you should run one. The quicker you can get the oil up to temp, the better. In regards to the routing of the lines on the sandwich plate on the block, It's worth double checking their orientation. The oil return is the central fitting and the oil feed is the one that's offset. It's an easy enough mistake to make, and it could potentially explain your oil pressure problems and consequent engine damage.
  17. As promised. Contracted. Extended. And if you're working on single or twin pot calipers with slide pins, sometimes these are just as effective.
  18. But when you have some nice calipers, there's no point in marking them if you don't have to. I have a set of Bluepoint ones, but they are a bit bulky. On a lot of the cars I work on the pistons are pushed out so far the tool barely fits in. But they're a definite time saver. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.
  19. Please tell me this is still progressing!?
  20. Some good reading; http://radiumauto.com/media/techarticle-page.php?Radium-s-Ultimate-Fuel-Pump-Test-87 DeatschWerks' new external in-line pump. http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticles/ID/3580/DeatschWerks-DW350iL-Think-Outside-The-Tank.aspx
  21. Because It's dry carbon, it really depends on the lighting and sometimes...who am I kidding...It's black
