every thought of re-doing allthe window trim and door handles in black... looks great BTW.

there was a time when the HR30 was all together, i even drove it around for about a month unrego'd. new things come along, i've had the car 7 1/2 years many things come and go in that amount of time this would be the main reason i lost interest in the HR30

i'm in the mood to sell this again,..... going to send some time putting it back together and post up new "together" pics asap selling without import approval but this is just a case of getting the paperwork from and importer/compliance place and filling it in due to its age and being in the country then agian would make a great track car... alos does not come with HR31 front struts as these have been sold, fitted with the HR30 slotted DBAs' and the r30 orange Konis. price drop $5000ono PM me here

hahaha, mine has sat in 2 carports now for the last 4 years with nothing happening, finally moving to a house that has a covered in garage that has a spot set out so i can get back to getting it sorted. my excuse is the 2 other r31s i've been building in the mean time.... love the rims, whats the sizes??

that sucks, have you tried any places on the mainland? maybe try some of the parts places in the sticked thread "parts department" at the top of the main page in this section. or see if you can bribe OUTATIME to take his out and send it to you, $$$ takes... good luck

being that your in tas i'd just be calling a local windscreen place and get them to get you a new one as getting a secondhand one shipped to you will cost you only a little less as they are big and heavy...

got a quote to get my HR30 complianced and mod plated for the engine swap - $1150 in brisbane. just have to arrange import approval myself. HR31s' are getting to a point where there are not going to be many more imported due to there costs in JP these days and what they are worth here...

a few of us from the r31 club meet at movieworld carpark before heading towards brisbane for cruises, plenty of parking and you can't miss anyone

HR30 l20et engine, is 1150kg, the other models go up Kg's due to all the electrics they got..... only offered in l20 or fj20 engines r31 rule of thumb is around the 1300kg mark. import models came in rb20et - rb20det versions from nissan local models all got the rb30e

a mate put his vg30 onto his rb25, just used the 25 lines and there was no smoke from the exhaust...

have you though about HR30 tail lights?? would set it apart from the rest. looks tops as is...

did this get fixed?? it sounds like a few things like air flow meter, o2 sensor and crank angle sensor but then again it could just be the ECU behind the kick panel in the passenger foot well. i had a similar sounding problem not to long ago where water got into the relay in that foot well and caused the relay to short out the injector loom and shut off the injectors.

my GF is sort of half and half towards cars, she'll motivate me by telling me i could buy this or that for the car if i did this or that around the house or by selling one or two of my cars. then just this past Saturday she tried to bribe me to not go on a long time planed cruise with $400 cash knowing very well i would just spend that on the car anyway?? you could have always used the word "maintenance" to discride what your plane is... works some of the time!!!

just add a post of parts you want to sell or are looking for in the "Parts Department" sticky at the top. a mod can update the title and you just have to "report the post" to make changes to your post if something sells?? M2c

4 pots would leave even less room then... what offset are your rims??

just to let you know i measured the HR31 rotor calipar set up and its min 170mm clarence from the centre of the rotor to the outside of the calipar, they offer a 274mm rotor and the pad face is about 50% larger then the standard aus r31 pad.... not sure what your asking with the "body shock" do you mean insert for the strut??

just get a set of HR31 front struts, they run the larger calipars and rotors but also offer the right calipar spacing to run the 4 pots/ brembo's of later model skylines, floating hubs are what you want to look for... 14" as dennis said are a no go for anything larger than stoch r31 brakes.... Maddats i think made an adaptor set up to run the r32 4pots and rotors with 15" rims but $$$$ involved is nuts.... i also have a set of HR30 front struts with Konis orange adj inserts and DBA slotted rotors that i could sell ya cheap, only used for about 100km of road travel. may as well say there brand new cost me an arm and a leg when i brought them.. going nice and cheap.....PM me if your interested
