i'd say webber may have had a thing or 2 to say to the team boss after the last pitstop. he didn't seem to happy on the podium. would have been interesting if webber had gotten past Alonso sooner, lapping 3-4 seconds slower than the leader must of sucked, other than that it was a good race...

looks like williams are running light again or they have found good speed in the car, at least that toyota of ralfs wont be in the way.....

i'll ask the jaxs tryes bloke i go to to see what he can do but he's been stuffing me around with a set of KMac adj strut tops for my r31.

ended up getting quotes, from autobarn for DBAs and glodal auto spares for RDA, the fronts with DBA were 325 slotted and with RDA it was 283 for the slotted, the biggest difference was the rears for my hr30 were 269 for the DBAs' and 135 for the RDAs' both slotted

i was close though

theres hope for us all then??? at 1200kgs its 50kgs heavier than my car.... :wassup:

thanks guys, this is what i was after, i bought a set of DBA slotted rotors for the hr30 about 18 months ago and they were 340 each, the first set they had made for a r30 skyline, i've now upgraded the fronts to r32 gts-t's 4 pots and rotors and was hoping that new rotors would be alot cheaper. DBA will make a set of r32 rotors in the 4x114.3 for a bit more $$ wont they?

i have a similar thing with mine, sort of, i have the noise but the turbo still pulls? i've been told that the nosie is when the turbo has over spun?? though come to think of it there is one bolt or nut missing from where the turbo bolts to the manifold??? also when my clutch let go there was no pull from the turbo, not much forward anything, but you would notice how fast it would rev out though!

with the limited choice using 4x 114.3 with a less than 35 offset these were some of the best i've come across next to custom simmons or something.. all that said the P1 1's i have were half the price of the 2's very light and still look sweet.

what you need is s-13 coilovers and s-13 hubs, there the key, the rotors from the r33 n/a version are 4 stud or you re-drill r32 rotors (which i did) put it all together. this is as far as i've gotten, if you want to to be more correct you can get a set of r31 adj camber tops or just turn around the s-13 tops to fit...cost so far about 1100. might spend all this weekend trying to fit it all, the only thing stopping me is i only have 15" rims on the hr at the moment and i'd need 16s to fit over the r32 rotors and callipars!

i'm looking for ideas on replacing my rotors, brands and price would be great. cheers, matt

it hard to say whats going on, the car should be fast, but they have been playing around with it quite a bit latley, new aero parts for this race (30+) the new engine and he still seems to have problems with the toyota??

webbers using the new engine tonight too, so hope it helps him to go forward and not hinder him for this race.

i think they got the letters wrong?? gts-r would be more like it? thought that car seems to have a "tommy kiaira" (spelling) badge in the grill so perhaps they got there hands on a few gts-r's or x's and played with them??

what "slow r31" said: if you want it to last change the fluid every 4-6 months. if you look at the transmission fluid now is it very dark in colour almost black and grittie, if it is then i think its' to late to save or prolong its life.

the diff on most aus r31 will whine its common at around 70-80km/h, the car is it manual or auto?

i know its an old thread but towards the tuning side for mines chipped ecus would something like a safc make any difference to making the mines chip more useable??
