  1. which would you buy, the turbo r34 2door or a N/A 95-96' supra being that my budget is $30,000? for this $$ i'd be looking at an auto version of ither :kick:

  4. is there a limit to the mods done to a car prior to compliance?
  5. just asking those of you that have an imported r30 what was done to the car for rego purposes? belts, mirrors and so forth. its just i bought some retractable rear belts from a mr30 hatch and theres nowhere to bolt them, the old rear belts were just bolted to the strut tops??

  7. is it just me or did i read the email from prestige wrong? it stated that as of today 07/02/05 cars built during and prior to 1988 can still be imported just not 1989 up, so in theory as of 01/01/06 cars with a built date ??/??/1989 will be back on the RAWS import list???
  8. so as of tomorrow anyone who has'nt bought yet, wanted to import a 89' gtr or gtst well 89' anything, they are now having to wait longer or pay sevs ($3500) to bring the car into the country?

  10. find a hr30 put on all the bits your after (body bits, interior everything) then ship it over and only pay shipping, gst and all import cost once
  11. r32 brakes are not going to fit unless you use ither hr31 import struts or s-13 coilovers and s-13 hubs, not as hard as you might think, though i havent done the work yet, have all the bits just no time...once i do the work i'll then have a brand new set of Koni adj struts,king springs and DBA slotted rotors for sale all done less than 100km. hint hint.....
  12. interesting to see they still use the dr radiator! it be nice to know with a few little mods (new turbos) you can get 300rwkws to play with!
  13. adj cam gears will move the power band up or down the rev range, just this alone on the exhaust cam can increase the torque output slightly on the rb20det..

  17. i have to say had no problems with slidewize at all, got a set of odd sized P1 racing rims and a safc all delivered on time in A1 condition... first place i ask if looking... cheers Zac big thumbs up

  19. you always see more s-13s with rb20det conversions over late model sr20det conversions but not very many r32's with sr conversions around ( though i did see my first one for sale the other day). i went rb over sr just for the dollars at the time.. RB half cut at $2200 is $2300 for fitting and mods rather than $4500 for half cut.....the 2 engines are very close on paper stock.....

  24. found the artical, firstly going by what it says was the car modded when you bought it or have you done the work? its just they say that the ecu should not be able to cope with the boost leavels your running without it being retuned?
  25. there car'nt be many NICS engines out there with that kind of power!! i've been trying to find an old HPI artical on the NICS rb20det for you, which was mostly about the ecu and its mapping for good power... there was also a name of a bloke who at the time was able to get around the 150rwkw after a few years of playing with the engine, have you had a power run done on any other dyno before?
