nice one mate, if you get to concerned with the side scratch then i can get a # for a bloke on the coast who can fix small scratches in paint work for ya, i gather the r31 will be garaged soon? you may have inspired me to look for a gts-4 to ship over... enjoy.

the fronts in 17" on mine are running 215 tryes and about a 8mm spacer, thats using the standard struts and calipar set up, i'm still to have the 4pots installed but i'll need to get longer studs fitted.

they will fit but will stick out from the guards more giving it a phat look, the less the offset is the further out from the centre they will sit..... my rs8s' wantanabes were the some offset as bensDR30 mentioned but 7" at tne front and 7.5" at the rear, the 17" P1's i've got now are 8" at the rear with an offset of 22, just fit no scraping....

get this i'm about to finish mine well it is finished all except for the fitting of the new seats, seats carnt be fitted till feb next year?? so i can get compliance now $165, then pay the $165 again when the seats can get done or wait till feb and get it all done for one $165 cost... its a never ending test of small annoying things thats draging this on and on and on....

yeah i ended up getting a voltage booster for the signal but it did nothing. thanks again the car goes to another place on tuesday for the safc install and final compliance so i'll just tell them the troubles and let them figure it out??

the engine and ecu ar'nt in a r32 also i'm running an autometer tacho, the wire your discribing is that from the ecu or the r32 dash cluster?

as the title says i'm looking to get a SAFC installed soon (booked in for next tues) but my standard rb20det ecu seems to have no rpm signal, tested twice by 2 sparkies, my question is if the signal can be taken from somewhere else to run a tacho will this same signal work for the running of the SAFC?? thanks guys.....

with the r30 and the r31 they seem very much the same with head room, that said, i havent been in one with a sun roof yet? but i'm just about to get rails made for my new seats which i'll let you know a quote on tues..

after market fuel pump too i gather? have you replaced the plugs lately? just ideas i'm afraid...

i would say the rubber part would stay closed till you took your foot off due to the vacume, what about the safc2 was it re-tuned when the new turbo went on?

driver always plays a part in the time you get too. getting all this power to the ground is another thing, its all good having 200+rwkw there to use but no fun (relativly) if all you do is sit there spinning the wheels...you try it with all the suggested mods here and a skyline weighing around 1150kg out of the showroom...

theres a place at nerang thats will do it i think its around the $500 mark ( don't know where i got that figure from??) post up a contact # tonight for you, but i'm talking to a place tomorrow about a compliance plate for my car, engine swap and the other bits, but i'll ask for a price on the import compliance your looking for tomorrow..

mine lights are crap too and i just paid someone $600 so they could work. i'm going to spend a bit of time and clean the reflectors on the inside see if that helps???

have you ever had to order something from nissan? i had to order a new clip for the shifter to hold it in place took 2 weeks to get here and cost $18, it takes time and is always expensive.. the lines are the same but hard to find. i throught i had a set waiting just to swap over but turns out the passenger side one was seized as the old calipar from my hatch was broken and just didnt work??? news to me...

a couple of wreckers told me to go to marine control cables in labrador, took it to them today said what it was "handbrake cable" and he said "off an old skyline i guess". he said he'd have a new one made by fri for me..
