did anyone see the thing on TV where they put that new fighter plane in a race with the F1 car,as they say, its all in the thrust!! why would a jet engine be at an exhaust place??

i've seen a jet powered hi-ace somewhere before and the thing i carnt figure out is where does the air get to the engine as the one i say still looked like a hi-ace van from the front, grill, window and everything?? p.s. there were no donuts being done by this van!!!

try the NSW forum for places as most people here seem to be from SA i'm in QLD hopfully the place you get the brake cable you can get the side mirror parts to, those are the bits inside the car right?

[ant]- i've got the orange external height adj konis very firm, there are also the red external height and firmness ones very $$ also none in the country for the r30 when i looked, what did the suspension place tell you about the yellow ones? also i hope you dont have to replace the seals between the front and rear windows as they are a bitch to find and come with the rear 1/4 window as you carnt seperate the seal from the glass unless your very carefull also $$.

i've seen jp websites with pics of hatchs running l20ets but they seen to all be transplants from the l24e with other upgrades, front ends, tail lights and badges. running the wolf 3D is the best option as it has alot of future potions in terms of turbo you run, injectors, boost, fuel system. do you need a afm with the wolf3D or not? i think thats the first step to good power!

so you think all i'll need to do is bolt up the manifold and she'll fire up? what adout the ecu which would be better l24e or l20et? thats where i think the problem would be! PHONTON-XL- i think you'll always find little info on the l20et thats helpful as all i've read has been bad, worst engine nissans produced type stuff! it sucks

im hoping all i'll need is a new gasget as i'll have a full 2 1/2" straight through exhaust for the r30 as well by then! i've also got a mate with a paul newman version l20et who said he is running 22psi boost, he wont tell me what else hes done through? p.s. he has no intercooler as he lost 6psi running it?? gets around 200hp at the fly???

there is a bit of info here on this engine, what i know is thats it around 141hp at the fly, the turbo has a metal shaft, the airflow meter is very restrictive (about the size of a matchbox), they seem to be very unreliable, i have one (l20et) still with the gearbox just sitting in the garage with the entention of putting the head on to a hatch l24e i also have sitting there! i'll get around to that one day! there is a thread here somewhere that has the specs for the l20et, also theres either a HPI or ZOOM mag in the last 3 to 4 issues that has all the specs aswell! HP/compression/torqueand other things.

i've got the english and japanese instructions if you still need then!

it says different engines can be part of the deal so that would be interesting to see if they are replacement or different spec! Zagan- your looking at $500,000 for new V8 supercar around 2/3ds that for last years model!! thats the car alone, were talking 1million plus $$ to compete with a car in a few rounds, it sucks big time $ wize.

[ant]- sweet ride, what struts are at the front as it seems to sit high or is that due to the front lip making it lower? i'm running konis adj front and rear they are made for the model but depending on the place you order them from they may take a while to get them! the front cost $750 installed don't know the rear as they were in the car when i bought it, don't know if you can see very well from the little pic i have there but i can still lower the front about 10mms' and the rear are at the lowest point they can go, thats with the lowered kings'.

stu- thats crap, have you been to supa cheap, autobarn and those kinds of places as they dont mind selling ya things, i'll be removing the a/c and p/s from the rb20det, well the a/c anyway i'm not shaw if the r30 p/s system will work with the r32 pump plus its on the other side of the engine bay so tricky plumbing. so is the engine in or you getting the other stuff first?

[ant]- welcome to this monster, good to see another rs in the red and black! what nose dose yours have? (iron mask or does it have a grill), we did have a lot of info on shockies, struts and brake upgrades but lost about 3 pages/65 posts which seem to cover all this!

if anyones looking then this seems like good deal though it states dr30 its a hr30, its has a link management system in control with hand set! if its for you or you know of someone who may be interested then pm and give you all the info!!

i went to get info on the new wolf 3D for my rb20det and the bloke said that there was nothing better than the link ECU for a rb20det and then he told me it would be $2300 fitted and tuned so i tuned out, am now looking to remap the factory ecu to get my end results for a thrid the cost!

I bought one of the 600x300x75 hybrid bar/plate and fin supercoolers through e-bay and its surpost to surport up to 800hp with a 0.5psi drop, im running it with the rb20det from a r32 and have had nothing but good things said, as yet i havent driven the car with it cooling the air but will be running 12 psi for now and am just waiting for the pipe work to be finished. all up for $1100 fitted custom piping thats not a bad deal!

are the badges blue with gt displayed and do the tail lights have a round centre?
