the thing is is that it took me 4 months to find out what model i bought!! so ive read and seen a lot of web sites, i was going to buy a gts-x r31 then my brother in law told me about this rs skyline 2door that he saw for sale at a wreckers?? you know what the shitty part is is that i drive a r31 every day and after all this time f%$king around with the r30 i just want to sell it and pay someone to put a RB25DET into the r31 and drive away!!

its a strange thing with the r30 as there are at least 6 different types of r30 engine combos' you can find, to start with you may be unlucky to get your hands on a 82 l24 non fuel injected version r30, then it went to the fuel injected l24e, at the same time there were the hr30 with the l20et and the first dr30 fj20de, the 82 fj20de put out more power than the l20et, something like 160hp to a mind blowing 141hp for the l20et,then the hr30 went to the paul newman version producing 200hp, hard to get these days with that l20et engine. what you want to look for is either the dr30 with the fj20det 190hp or the rsx intercooled version which produced 205hp about 84 or very early 85, the thing to remember is that these are factory claims and also there are both 2door and 4door versions so weight is another thing to play with as they average around 1200kgs' maxing out at around 1300kgs and starting around 1100kgs for the no frills version hr30. i wont go into the other things like brake size and so forth or id fall asleep!! there are so many things you can do with any r30 if you have the time and budget!! hope this has'nt scared you of as they are a great base to get a killer skyline!! must drink more now as people are getting shitty!! just want to point out that the 84/85 rsx version stuck it to the same year model porsche (if that is spelt wrong shot me mate jp)....

I'm guessing you have the r31 eccs version, what i was trying to say is have you looked at the r32 eccs pinout diagram to compair it to the r31 eccs you have!!

have you checked to see the diffrences between the r31 eccs and r32 eccs!

anyone looked into the prices on R200 diffs at all?

thinking of getting one of these for my rb20det, seeing if anyone has had any experence with this, tuning and performance wise? i use the PiVot turbo timer and speed meter as well and find both of them to be great!

sounds very much like my diff, under load it twins, but free spin it has one going one way and the other spins the other way?? was told the diff in a pintara has the perfect ratio for track and was a good swap?? thats what i was told!! boof- pm'ed stu-r30 with the details and seems hes done deals with him?? may be ask stu-r30 what he thinks??

i for one would go to more nations cup events if there were gtr skylines putting it to the euros and holdens!!

i was under the impression that the nations cup was a power to weight deal fixed to different configerations, lets say rear engined sports car above $90,000, along those lines?? P.S. what engine base is the 300kw gts monaro?

leads, plugs and a good coil pack, litually more power. then the exhaust,headers and a 2 1/4" sports systerm. have you got that large sideways final muffler still?? this is good as you can get lost in the other thread if you want this kind of info!

my problem is the rb20 is not in a r32 its in a r30 and have been told the piping kit from hybrid might fit, now thats a $500 might fit, i'm getting custom piping made for me here on the coast that are a perfect fit for $400. Not to mention powerdigger would not sell me just the piping kit??? 5liter eater- i'm following the path of the hybrid pipes over the fan shroud.

the mods for now are 3" exhaust turbo back, chipped ecu and 12psi. sydneykid-do you find you lose any psi using the 3" piping to the throttle body?

looking for ideas on piping size for a standard rb20det with a new fmic setup, the intercooler has 3"inlet and 3" outlet, one of the hybrid 600mm,300mm,75mm ones!! Cheers.

i havent seen very much recently but that castle of cagliostro was made in the 80's dude, for full length movies i think the last one i saw was the cowboy beebop movie, there are so many you can get that are just a few episodes thats its had to get a full length movie. not that i'm that old but when i started watching manga all you could get were movies, like castle of cagliostro, Akaira, ghost in the shell, ninja scroll and legend of the overfeind (has a japanese name i carnt remember to spell) there were three full length R rated movies for that last one, there are a lot of other ones that i've have at one point on video or dvd. can someone post up names of some new full length movies you can get in aus as i'd like to get some new ones to watch!!

then again to fix a r34 your going to come up with the same problems. does anyone know when the base model v35 is to be released or is that the same time as the "v35 gtr"
