  1. have you seen the price to upgrade any euro super, lets just say rims and exhaust, a mate at work just put new rims on his M3 12,000 now they are 19" but thats a little over the top. then just to fix a panel is also up there!!
  2. $100k for a Datson. priceless, one thing i think we've all forgotten is that this car is still in the process of being finished, someone post up the final blueprints to prove me wrong, here we are debating over the price and the specs of a car that most of us will not be buying for a long time! someone will buy these cars from the dealer then at some point they will become second hand and theres our chance, all good things come to those who wait or how else would we have the cars we have..

    japanese parts!!

might end up looking at those SSR rims myself!! pick up two somewhere go with a miss match hope no one notices! Cheers Rezz just as a side note i know those ssr rim work very well on the dr30, what would say two of those cost, if you can get two, with shipping to aus?
  4. just throught i'd add my fav pic of a r31 to these others! http://www.ksgarage.jp/Gallery/Actuals/KSAC010.jpg
  5. anyone seen the second last page of the latest HPI mag as there is the whole page to the DR30, small write up not to much info what they do say though is stay away from a dr30 for under 10,000 and be prepaired to pay up to 15,000. Also i emailed the bloke about the RS turbo booklet and he said its in japanese, but he did say that hes got a 20 foot container of dr30 parts and panels plus a couple of cars comming over in march so if there are things people are looking for then he may be to go!!
  6. stu-r30- as you know i've got the whitelines fitted too so shes flat and fast without spilling me drink (red bull that is).

  8. konis/kings, seems to be all right but will see as time goes by how firm the konis stay, a mate has them on his r30 put them in about 9 months ago and hes saying there are getting soft, his is a daily driver, mines gone 60km since the ignition was wired up, i can say cornering is flat and fast!!
  9. talk about a bargain, mine were like 700 brand new for the front!!

    japanese parts!!

looking for info on a japanese wheel company called "hayashi" as i have to replace a rim if any one has contact details or hints any help would be great this is the best pic of the rim i'm looking for! they are 15"by 6.5" three peice, stainless steel rim?? the car there from is a dr30. thats all the info i have? any one else looking for rare parts feel free to leave a post as someone looking may have the answer!!
  14. any one know sites to find 89 gtr's for sale and whats the km limit on them over there? its all good talking about cheap gtr's it another thing to see them for sale at these prices!!
  15. pozessedmr30- your running a l20e i gather, the problem is that the afm is the air box,if i remember correctly, with the r31 onwards they had an air box then a afm which you could remove by its self, someone else may know more!
  16. its an idea i thought of but most of us on the r30 thread want the same parts, front bars, gauge clusters and rims? think of the fights!!!
  17. stu-r30- with the konis they came with new tops, there is still the camber, doesn't seem as harsh as it was but i've got the trx rims on it and they sit in closer to the chasie? the front also had some neg chamber before i changed to the konis now they sit stright up and down?? PoZessedmr30-welcome, this your first car, if so great choice, with your air flow dont bother with the r31 air box its not that much bigger the the r30 one, i'd go the pod then put up a block to stop the hot air from the engine( build a box around it) so to let in air at the front, where the headlight is, even maybe spend 10 bucks on some flexie pipe to direct air to the pod from the front?
  18. all this makes me want to sell my house and come along for the ride!!
  19. funkymonkey- do you know the user name for the madman rep on this forum as there are some other movies and stuff i've been looking for!! cheers.
  20. yeah have a look at this thread as there are all the old brochures, slightly cheaper!! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ight=school+r31 you can go into each brochure and see each page, it seems to be mostly in japanese though!
  21. heah it was like 5 seconds of it though!
  22. no dude it was an add for the dvd, so i was'nt dreaming then!!
  23. was watching cartoons this morning and i think i say an add for some animated drift action on dvd, has anyone else seen this or was i still asleep?? What i saw was an rx7, ae86 and a r32 gts-t all drifting?? i think it was called "inatial D" it was only a few seconds of it!
  24. benny-nice, sounds like money well spent, are there any other things out of the ordinary, you know brakes, suspention and fuel system it would be nice to know if the japanese boys know any little tricks to the r30?? DR30RS-nice run what came second? yet another person with similar rims!! oh well you lucky bastards.. i was thinking on what info we lost and through most of it was on brakes and struts so if you have any throughs or have done something alone these lines post it as it all helps someone!! Cheers
