benny- no dude mine are Hayashi racing multi spoke, may be just a simaliar style then, you've still got four of them though!! have looked at r30 club web site at the half cages and centre floor bars, with the fifteen year rule not to many hassels, but half of us are looking at or finishing rb20 transplants.did you import it or buy it over here, looks very much like full import to me!

benny- thats sweet mate, very peeved though, looks like you've got the rims i have, well 3 and a half of anyway, thats the anoying thing they look brillant fit under the gards so well, can't find a replacement anywhere and they carnt be fixed!! looks brillant though the colour is great, makes me think of changing mine from the red and black to one colour! does the link in post 156 work as it works for me?? two very nice examples of old school skyline style, byring a teer to my eye seeing them!!

car yard round the corner from me has both N/A and turbo versions, N/A sells for 12500 stock, they have a stock turbo version with 102000km's on the clock selling for 14500 sticker price!

Welcome tomj-theres close to 25 people how have replyed to this thread but we lost about 3 pages of info. there are a few hr and Dr coupes now, good to see! R30-turbo- this paul newman bloke he must have a lot of cars??? my mate is running about 1.5bar boost (22psi)?? maybe closer to 2bar?? he put a fmic on but removed it when he found he lost 6 psi boost,he uses a rebuilt turbo but the original turbo should have a metal sharft and there for with stand more boost not to say it won't run out of puff though!

im running falkens 205 with whiteline sway bars (a lot phatter than standard) its shocking, might practice my flick turns. colours, if your going through the hassel of a colour change look for something different to what the starting colour was, always liked the r33 muroone colour,if i was to change the colour on mine i'd look at a deep red (blood) all over with the black rims!!

mike cash- with my swap there are a few different things we used from the r32 half cut but all and all it looks very similiar. 161 rwkws thats what my stage one should be! P.s i'm running the TRX rims as well, sprayed in a mat black, do yours rub on the sway bars?

r30-turbo- i guess you are running the l20et engine? the only other things i can come up with would be maybe a bottom end swap for the l24e then big turbo, ecu chipping or swap?? for that power may cost big dollars as i mentioned to chu-rulz, a mate has a pual newman version with the l20et and is running 22psi with no intercooler and is getting around 200hp at the flywheel, the paul newman version is a slightly higher rated engine though,

Chu-rulz- firstly, are you going to stay with the l24e or look for something more eventful. if its anything to you, i have a ti hatch, now there not a bad place to start, they are not that power producing unless you spent big dollars. but if you want to start start with plugs, leads and filter, use a good fuel system cleaner every few tanks, then its exhaust, a custom set of tuned extractors will always help, get rid of the final muffler something a bit more sports like 2.25/2.5 inch system, theres a good start or just put in an rb20det and not look back!!

yeah we've lost about 3 pages of info, alot of good stuff, trying to think of where the oil would come from, have you looked underneath for any oil spray, as the only thing i can think of is the gear box as thats the only thing with oil in that area?

just dropped the r30 at the elicticans, would you believe it the only other car there was this stunning all black r32 gts-t running an rb25det, sweet looking beast, front and rear gaurds were flared or made to look like a gtr. Phat. on the topic now, hope to get the car back soon with all the things fixed, lights, tacho, boost gauge all these thing were not finished as i had to take the car to get the suspention finished as they needed the car to run to do the work. also by the time its finished the parts from gus should be here so thats one more thing out of the way!

6000 could be a good price, do you want it as there are alot of good r31's for sale ranging in price from 1000 to 13000, are you looking for a particular model or did this one catch your eye. the k's are high for a 89 sounds like its been looked after though,

milo tin?? these a bloke who lived round the corner from me who had a milo tin final 5" at least sounded shocking, in a work, tinnie. i think 4" final is the go at most! when i get my fmic finished i'll get a quote on a full 3" stright through system, turbo back, hi flo cat and stainless final muffler. Stu- are you going to stay with the cross over exhaust or go with a more stright approch?

the ones i was look at are 8 spoke charcoal 17" $850 bucks!! they will fit an r31 but would need spacers to work with r30 also got this great link to post an avatar of a tomica r30 but wont work now that the r31 forum is gone

think of all the relevent info we've lost, are these rims you got the poke or something else Boof. was going to buy some 17" from a bloke on the r31 forum but it shut down while i was specking to him, its gone, finished to be no more got an e-mail saying due to organization problems they are rethinking the hole forum as a subscription based thing?? any one else use it, you know what the real loss is is those were nice rims for a cheap price!! no way to get in touch with this bloke?? looks like we've lost a heap of info i've lost like 60 posts!

yeh something like that, same place powerdigger.com there like 60 in blue or red silicon you get enough for 1, 3" to 3" 1, 3" to 2 1/2" and 1, 2 1/2" to 2 1/2" dont know if they'd sell them to though???

the cooler im using has 3" inlet and 3" outlet ends so i'll look at 2 1/2" piping been quoted 1000 bucks for a full costom piping set up but also told the hybrid gtst kit will come close to fitting 450 but powerdigger wont sell me one as they advertise it but wont sell it ??? or same piping kit through dif crowd 600??

boof- i looked at a set of 17" rims a few months ago they said they would fit the r30 but i would need to use spaces, also they said that the spaces are only legal if used for track not road! hey how many times have you been pulled over and they remove your rims?? 2000 and above is alittle too pricey at the moment as my car only cost 2300, i will be looking for second hand ones for now! Stu- running a standard rb20det bov at the moment but will be looking later at either the turbosmart dual port or gfb stealth, hybrid! those rims are another set i like, not a bad price either!

boof- you could buy one rim a month?? yeh its one of those things every time i find a rim that looks great they wont fit and the ones that do cost a small fortune! its a vicous circle! has any one thought of spaces as they would make it so that most of these great rims would fit? Also boof what panals are you waiting for and where are they comming from??
