drive what you like!!, my dads in r/e and he drives a two door rav4, a good r/e agent spends more time out meeting people at the address than being a taxi, in the long run you'll see its all about the listings not what you drive!

fmic for shaw, just think, if you get the power fc you will most likley want to get it tuned to peek output them when you finally get the fmic theres more money to tune it again!!

stu- your tail lights are they the hotplate ones or dr30 with the r31 looking covers. if they are the dr30 ones find some rs badges that would be the go!!

can any one let me know of any places here on the gold coast how do the reports as the place i was going to go to has closed or moved?? they had already done work to the car but i had to take it somewhere else to do the wiring then went past the place last week to find them gone!

what problems would you experince if you did run the rb20det without an intercooler?

boof- i thuoght as much thats why i didn't open up the housing as i'll look for a r200 or may be something from a pintara as the diff ratio is better for track, well thats what i've been told? when you say 2 sets of rs badges are they the same or 2 different types? jaustech i found good for parts but they to far away from me to to do much else!

if they are they'd be blue and both the hatch and sedan would carry them, mine carrys red r/s badging, yours should have them, is yours an mr30 or hr30?

for 2300 i carn't complain though it has cost me a little more over time!! pics would be good as id like to know how it fits?

i think it is but the bloke who had the car before me may of taxed it! the car came with no engine in it so it was never driven till recently so havn't been able to put power to the rear end. when its up on jacks i've put her through the gears at some times the passenger side provides the drive and at others both? when under load it put the drive through both and have the black lines to prove it??? when no power free spin the wheels will go in different directions??? if you have any clues let me know as i dont want to open it up to look!

stu- i think i'll spend the money on autometer gear instead sorry there! with the front pipe is it one for the r32 or custom as i've been looking to get one from the turbo back, the bloke who installed the engine also cut and welded the front pipe to work with the r32 dump pipe and the old exhurst on the car think its a 2 1/2 " systerm all along?

when i got my car it had these japanese rims on it but one was damaged beyond repare! now these rims filled the guards to an inch with in rubbing looked sweet but i carn't get away with 3 though, they are 15"6.5" with what i think is something like a +35 (centre off set) thats all the info i could get off the rim its self have tryed to get info on the company that maked them but no one can help! i think the thing with the trx rim is that they sit to far in and there for have shortened the distance between the wheels themselves?? im runing 205's all round. you'll find with the mention of the microtech its for other engines rb20det and rb25 with there swaps but speck to jaustech as they seem to deal with alot of dr30s' so they may have some thoughts?

boof- so the lenso poke fit? as they are the ones i've been thinking of, i think they would look excilent something like a 17", have you spoken to the shop about them yet, i have a problem with the trx rims im running rubbing on the sway bar. let me know?? think i'll get a set and get them anidized black! so your is indentical to the one at jaustech nice! nicko- i have an r31 gxe and what i'll do is either measure up to see if it fits or do a swap as it would be good to know as the gtsx r31 has that lower lip that can be lifted! did you find the tail lights?

Boof- i guess your running a fj then, i've seen that car in those pics on the jaustech add and web site nice though, not too many about though! let us know the results of your mag hunt as its always good to know what other people come up with? elrohir- what kind of things does the dash need to display as i have one from an 82 hatch that you can have it goes to 200km with ,of hand, i think taco goes to 8000?? and the rest of the usual things. dont know what sensors you'd need to keep as very likley to completely different systerm in both years and requirments?? interesting swap keep us posted as to the things involved. stu- didn't do much to the brakes just swapped the rotors to slotted dba standard size though, and am using bendix compound x pads seem to work very well but am still working them in!

Well yes but im still in the process of finishing it so i kind of haven't done it yet, don 't tell any one, the bloke who did the swap spoke to a few people in the know and, as i thought, told me that there wasn't to many other changes needed to complete the swap (He asked why i wanted to change the rotors to slotted with better pads) you know brakes not important, i just wanted to do the other things first and then worry about the formallitys, my plan is to go to the blokes the machanic spoke to and say "it was like this when i bought it" then hope that i've spent enough on the right things??

stu you must know the hassels of good looking rims for the r30 and how difficult it is to get something over a 15" that arn't stockos, i have been thinking of these spaceres that JMS had on there parts for sale part that change the stud pattern from what it is now to a 5 stud formation that suit a wider range of options. the only thing is is that these alone are $695 and then you have the price of the rims on top and thats just to much at the moment, its all about the $$$.

ok for those of you with pay TV in any form bloomberg is the most dis-organized bit of information on tv unless you follow the stockmarket then you could not do with out it, if you are looking for something other than a stock report then you must find it, they do advertise TOKYO MOTOR SHOW but do not say any times as it will most likly be a fill in or part of some other broadcast so if you find it well done!! reply as soon as you see it to let us know?

yeh your right they do advertise tokyo motor show, i work for them and have enforced that the tv is on bloomberg, its just a question of when and what coverage they use??fat chance of finding it though!! please reply if you have spent more than 30 seconds watching it as very well done!!

just trying to get some idea what rims are out there for r30 skylines, i'm running trx rims with 205/60 falkens and theres no chance of getting full lock without the tyres rubbing on the sway bar? any hints ??
