i see these cars everyday, well when they come in for servicing.... Spotted a Silver 33 with a massive "OMFG" wing on Abbotsford road about 5 - 5:30 this arvo, i was at the mobil servo

i think i need to dial in a bit most castor and camber for the mountains, the current setup runs good for track but feels a little wrong for touge. I will be in for the next one, i don't really get down to the gold coast runs much.

mate i can also recommend "Exclusive Auto Centre" nick is an absolute perfectionist, i have seen his work, its top shelf. Also try Col Shipstones at Albion.

Ah ok they look the same as what came standard on the M30, but 31's are 4 stud. I can't find any pictures of the car that shows the rims.

They look like the are rrims from the M30, which is a modded R31 GTS-X running a RB30DE (RB30e block and bottom end, and RB20DE NICS head) Some info here Have your rims been redrilled to 5 stud?

Its true our so called high octane fuel in oz is crap, the stuff in japan is so much better. Different cars seem to run better on different fuels, i only run BP Ulitmate in mine, haven't tried Mobil or the Caltex, but i know the Shell fuel runs really bad in my car

Thanks Ian for organizing a great night, nothing wrong with that pace, any faster and i don't think the 31 could keep up Good to see that rain hit AFTER the mountains, might have made it a bit dangerous on glorious Look forwards to the next one.

Yer normally a PS pump will be making bad noises before they give up, you might even find the belt just needs to be adjusted a bit tighter

Your powersteering pump might have failed, would explain why you have a full reservoir but not power asist. Might get better answers in the tech section

no no no you guys got it all wrong R31's are boxes on wheels, 32's have curves, i got square everywhere.

thats an understatement, i take it most of you guys had the air-con on, i wish mine worked. well it would if i wasn't too lazy to fix it. I had a great day, so many hot looking cars in that group. Who owns that pearl 34 GTR? it looked amazing.

I spotted a Yellow 34 GTR in the hand wash cafe on abbotsford road this arvo about 5, that looked hot. Also spotted a maroon 32 gts-t in Wilgarning St at stafford a bit later on

Just a GTS1 R31, she's fairly stock i just installed adjustable camber tops and castor arms along with rear pillowball tops. I'm having some issues with it running very rich at the moment so its staying away from the track till i get it running good again, guessing some more money and a dyno tune will get it pulling a low 1:07 - high 1:06. Late next year im looking at getting a R31 coupe built for track work.

Yer i have driven at 40km/h on the M1 too, also another thing i have problems with is when its raining no one puts there headlights on, with heavy rain you cannot see the car that is 20m in front of you if it doesn't have headlights. BTW: Anyone know what was up with the riverside express way this arvo heading towards Corro drive?
