I won't be entering this time, lack of cash and the car isn't running right the main reasons. Was also a bit hot last time.
I will be entering again next year, hopefully with some more tricks up my sleeve to get some faster times.
Mate really sorry to hear, i worry about my car and its a 1988 R31.
That scratch looks very deep, buffing it might reduce it a bit however you may need to get it resprayed
Wise words there, i started with a 85 barina, cost nothing to run, didnt look or go fast, but it got me around.
If you want a skyline and your on your "p" you might still be able to get a non-turbo model.
I have seen this before on an Alfa V6, kinda looked similar except the piston was in peices no bigger than a 50c peice and the rod was snapped in half after it cracked the liner, found everything in the sump and the airbox.
Sorry to hear that.
Heat was a big killer out there, being a NA RB30e i don't have much anyway but i could really feel it lacking, still managed to pull a 1:08.95 even with the LSD not working. New tyres really helped me.
My mate in his R31 GTS1 pulled a 1:07.69 and his old man in the stock R33 GTS-t S2 ran a 1:06.40.
Pre-enter, its the best way sometimes it gets very busy, my mate went one time and could get in cause they were booked out.

Yer Campbells Pocket Rd is very narrow, but a very fun road to drive.
Mt. Nebo / Glorious very nice section of road, police do patrol these roads quite mainly saturday/ sunday.
at the top of Peachester rd there is another road called Bald Knob Rd. pretty tight and large trees close to the side but a fun road to run on.
Also Palmwoods - Montville Road, pretty tight at the top, road is also narrow and rough but its sealed good bit of tarmac to run on, just dont' cook the brakes.
