More pics/info: http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/priva...x=mode+matchany Vehicle 1990 NISSAN SKYLINE HR32 GTS 4 Price $9,990. Kilometres 109,000 5 speed Manual RB20DET - 6 cylinder Petrol Turbo 2.0L This is the perfect car for anyone who wants an immaculate skyline to build into a street machine, or even if you just appreciate a near stock piece of automotive history. This is a regretful sale, but as I have started uni I want a small car with cheap insurance. As you can see below the car is in top condition with all the parts that usually need replacing around this time replaced. Car was imported in 2005 with 86,000 kms, which is a legitimate amount according to mechanics. In other words the mileage hasn't been wound back like most skylines out there. There is also no rust, no previous accident damage, etc. Paint is in perfect condition. - Fujitsobo 3" turbo-back exhaust, nice quiet sound, won't get attention from the cops. - Mongoose M60 alam and keyless entry/central locking. - Engine grounding kit, improves idle etc. - Turbo timer. - Lowered on king springs sports lows, recommended ride height for performance. - Polyurethane bushes - Engine in top condition, with 150 compression across all cylinders and oil changes every 5000 km. - Gearbox recently rebuilt due to the 3rd/4th gear synchro, a fairly common problem on AWD vehicles due to the extra strain on gearbox. - New brass button clutch, brake pads and front nankang tyres purchased by previous owner within the last year. These are the only things I don't have receipts for but any mechanic can verify these parts. Recent Service History: October 2007, 102000 kms: Gearbox rebuild + transmission/engine oil change + misc .... $1522 June 2007, 97,000 kms: 100,000 km service done Timing belt + Idle tensioner New Water Pump New p/steering and alternator belts NGK iridium spark plugs sports low kings springs .... $1,405 Mongoose Alarm+Keyless entry .... $300 Parts for Roadworthy Certificate June 2007: New Brake master cylinder Machine front/rear discs New C.V. Shafts Misc other stuff .... $1,618 Nankang NS-2 tyres for both rears .... $250 As you can see a lot has been spent to ensure there is nothing more to spend.. the high service costs have not been an issue for me as I factored them into the purchase price, so pick up a bargain! A mechanical inspection is strongly encouraged, they will tell you this car is in top shape. No test drives, but i am happy to take you for a drive. This car does not have comprehensive insurance and the brass button clutch takes a bit of practice to get used to so most people will stall first time they drive, I don't want to risk an accident. As above mechanical inspections are welcome and encouraged, and they will probably take it for a drive for safety inspection anyway. i have a r32 gts4 with the only mods being a turboback exhaust and sports low springs. i want to get a boost controller, i have to decide between a EBC and a 2 stage manual BC. how much can i get a second hand EBC for? i understand for dr. drift tune u need a EBC, i might get one of these in the future so which EBC works with his tune? also, my car is too high with the sports springs, im considering either getting coilovers and dumping it, or getting a vertex kit and some shocks later on when my standard shocks die. i have a pretty low budget, are there any coilovers i can get for around 1.5 grand that will survive sydney roads reliably? this car is a daily driver and i go on parra road quite a bit.. finally, if i were to get a full kit, how much would i be looking at for fitting and painting, as well as de-spoilering? i got a quite for 1 grand, could i get it cheaper? if i get a second hand kit i guess they dont need to primer it so would that mean a bit cheaper too? sorry for the noobie questions, i did a search and got some answers but i mainly want an idea of costs.

well im not a suspension pro, but: springs not shocks control ride height, so changing springs would change ride height aftermarket springs are built to fit the same as standard suspension, and your bilstein springs should be the same fit as standard suspension i dont think it would be bad for the suspension unless its specifically designed for your current ride height

im using a little bit more fuel than i would expect on my r32 gts4.. fuel light comes on 300-350km from a full tank, and the car is fairly stock. how can i test these sensors? anything else that might cause excess fuel consumption? the car is mechanically A1. or is this fuel consumption normal for the AWD?

im after a blank key for a R32, as i don't have a spare.. are there any cheap generic ones available or is my only option to buy the $60 ones off ebay/justjap?
-
still after some standard 32 GTST/GTS4 sideskirts or similair! also interested in GTR front bar to fit GTST/GTS4 if the price is right!
-
im after the part of the headlight switch that goes in front and to the left of the actual switch and has the pictures on it, if you know what i mean. the rectangular flat-ish bit of plastic

i have an American Racing pod filter with all brackets required to fit onto an RB20DET, as well as a fairly elaborate heat shield thats been painted black. The heat shield has a lip on the top so you can put a lid on it fairly easily, which i will probably do this week. Reason for swapping is that I only have 1 point and while this airbox would probably deter most cops i don't want to risk it. Buyer must be in Brisbane, or Sydney after the 30th.

sorry, this question has probably been asked a million times but a search didn't bring up anything relevant. what i want to know is, will R32 GTR side skirts fit onto a GTST without any modification, and if they do require modification could i DIY it or how much would a panel beater charge to fit them without painting etc.
-
as per title, will pay well for gray ones.
-
i'll probably just run some of that cylindrical plastic air ducting stuff from a hole in the airbox to the factory hole with a heatshield along the side of it, or something like that.
-
how much are u paying? URAS sells vents by themself designed to be riveted on

hi guys, I just bought a R32 GTS4, its got a pod filter so I want to box it up. does anyone have some examples of designs they could show me? especially for intake.. i don't really want to cut any holes in my chassis/wheel arch if i can avoid it. the cars at the mechanics at the moment so I can't measure it up, but i was just planning to do a 4 sided box sitting against the chassis with a 3 inch hole in the front to run a piece of pvc pipe or some form of tubing out to the front bar. where do people usually get the air from? does anyone have pictures of the stock airbox so i can see where it gets air from? I work at a fabrication shop so i probably have access to anything i would need.
-
just a suggestion, if you get HIDS you won't need reflectors, and it will probably cost you less than a pair of headlights.
-
interested in a stock airbox for a R32 GTS4, i assume GTST box will fit too. also interested in an R32 GTS4 gearbox.

if you get a hicas lock bar and lose the hicas that is supposed to shave off over 30 kgs, then if you remove the spare tire and jack and get lightweight rims you should have saved at least 50 kilos. anything past that is getting pretty extreme unless u want a pure track beast.. u will notice more difference from suspension and engine mods

yeah its important not to encourage thieves by having a simple interior and using a clublock etc. but the sad fact is that regardless of your alarm system a professional can steal pretty much any car. i'm fairly sure theres no alarm that can't be bypassed in a fairly short period of time, and even if such a thing exists the car can still be towed. the guys who steal cars and strip them can steal pretty much anything that interests them.. random kids trying to steal cars for a joy ride might be discouraged by an alarm but 90% of these cars will turn up again anyway if they are stolen.. therefore i would rather just have a ADR alarm purely so im covered by insurance
