  1. i'm also getting a roadworthy certificate this week. got one a few months ago just fine so there shouldn't be any problems.
  2. lookin at s14 atm mate but i wouldnt say no if i found a nice 33 either
  3. sold
  4. sold
  5. id guess 1338 gympie road, aspley nice 32, what are the kms? oh yeah and those rims look tops.. does it come with stockies or u just forgot to put it on the description?
  6. that is one clean 32.. def worth the price.. want to move to brisbane?
  7. nice 32 where are you located?
  8. yeah, brisbane. very nice 32 though.
  9. revhed mate, where are you located? sorry if you already said and i missed it. edit - oh are those victorian plates?
  10. 100 hours of time from a driving instructor will cost well over $3000.. it means you need a logbook detailing time spent in the car wit your 'rents or whatever.. have the same rules in NSW and its easy to just bullshit it. and if you dont think it will change think again.. QLD has the least P plater restrictions of any state in aus, and is the only state that hasnt brought out serious new young driver regulations in the last few years.. and as we all know the beattie govt likes to copy the big boys in NSW and VIC.
  11. haha i tried search first.. but can't use it.. :S i type in something and get no results. im not completely lost when it comes to computers so i dont think im doing something obviously wrong.. probably some issues with cookies or something.
  12. if the parts you want to spray are stock black plastic, you can strip them and take them to any painting place, they can prime the lot with plastic primer and paint it for $100 or $150 and it will look nice. if you want to respray already painted parts, there might be some issues with the paint underneath causing the paint on top to bubble up or look shit.. i dont know i've never resprayed plastic surfaces before. i'm not sure about prices too, but i've done quite a few pieces like that at work for mates with normal 2pack spraypaint and it looks great.. plus no cracks in the paint or anything when its put back in. the materials are around $50 for the paint/hardener and not much for the plastic primer, plus whatever labour costs. will cost a lot more if you get someone to pull the dash apart for you.
  13. will be looking at buying a 32 soon.. just want to look into a few mechanics that i can trust to check any possibles out for me.. pretty new to QLD so i dont really know any good mechanics, i get my fto serviced at joe n riks down in the goldcoast. Elite Racing seems to come up a lot .. where are they? somewhere near the city or a few places spread out would be cool so i don't have to make the owner travel too much when i get his car checked out thanks for any help
  14. would you consider trade + cash? also could you post a pic of the other side of the car? whys there a different rim on the front right?
  15. sorry to go offtopic but whered you get that info? i read about that in the paper today but it didn't give any definite figures on power restrictions or whatever. if its anything like the recent NSW P plater changes it won't effect people who got their liscence before the date the laws are introduced. hopefully . and nice 32. cleanest example of a GTS i've seen.
  16. that looks awesome mate. has a nice muscle car look to it too with the bonnet and color scheme.
  17. looks like something out of gran turismo
  18. haha yeh i reckon nissan took the futuristic look a bit too far.. but when youre on the road all people will see is a GTR shaped blur anyway
  19. surprised this hasn't sold yet.. if its for sale in a few months when im down in sydney i would very seriously consider it for $17k
  20. all i can tell you is in fast and furious generally the interiors of the cars are all stock (if they built them for the movie) with a few exceptions.. so its likely they are a stock option on 350z.. or maybe the stunt driver chose them cos he prefers em for drifting
  21. make sure you get it checked out by an import mechanic and do a REVS check before u buy. that car looks like a great deal if its in good shape. but yea.. shop around and make sure u get anything u are serious about buying checked out first. plenty of 33s to choose from. for 18 grand you can pick up a nice clean 33.
  22. is this the first skyline you've looked at? i'd suggest you look around a bit, there are tons of R33s around the 14-15 price bracket, you can get a great condition series 1 for that price. make sure anything you're considering buying you take to a import mechanic and get it on a hoist. also if the seller says he got an offer from a dealer for 14k.. thats most likely bullshit.. doubt a dealer would touch most r33s for over 11 or 12 these days. and RACQ guys are thourough to a fault, and some of them obviously don't know jap cars too well.. few weeks ago my mate got an RACQ inspection on a rotary.. it pointed out the car had "noisy tappets" among other things.. rotaries dont have tappets haha. but in their favour, they will definitely pick up any major faults so not a complete waste of time. just that a good import mechanic will find and run you through any problems while the cars on the hoist, tell you how much it will cost to fix, and be able to tell you wether or not the car is worth the price.. most will charge less than RACQ too.
  23. my 98 ford falcon work car has 310,000 kms on the clock, and has never needed any major engine service. you wouldn't get that out of most skylines, even stock, but hell.. its a falcon.. skylines much hotter
  24. wow .. you say you bought a house and a jeep and a boat, yet you whinging like a bitch over a grand..
  25. common sense says if it works on both r33 gtr and r34 gtr, it should work on r34 gtt. nissan probably has very similair wiring for these basic components in all their models around the same year range.. just a guess though don't hold me to my word I suggest you cut the brown wire and if the button still works then strip it and fix it back together with the tape hehe
