I've almost been airborn at one of the rail crossings on haddrill once, and that was in a stock magna at 10kph below the 70kph speed limit. I can only imagine how slow one would have to go over them with coilovers or similar. Best wishes to them both, good to hear they're recovering well.

I disagree. I'm way more likely to thrash something I don't care about. Any car can be fun to drive when you're pushing the limits, but only a nice car can still be fun when you're not.

Try a no-doz & 2 cans of red bull all within half an hour, while drinking the third and driving... My muscle tension went mad about half way through the third one haha, was pinging for a bit & couldn't sit still. Edit: Oh yeah, and it was hard to keep my foot between no throttle and full throttle haha, was pretty much flooring it everywhere then coming off completely cos it was too hard to hold it between. Good thing the magna is auto...

Ah, have another story as of a week ago lol. Driving home in a sort of hurry trying to get home before curfew, doing about 65 - 67 in a 60 zone. Light goes orange, so I speed up to get across before the red. As I'm about to go through the intersection, I see a cop sitting at the red light to my left. Knowing there's a very low chance he had his radar on, I said very little after he pulled me over. Then he started ranting to me about showing off by speeding.. I fail to see how 75 - 80 is impressive on collier road lol, every second car does it in the mornings on their way to work lol. The irony of it all is that I had to go even faster on the way back because as I said it was almost curfew and he wasted about 7mins.

I was pulled over on L's, for going "way too fast for a learner" lol. I wasn't speeding, I was just accelerating hard lol. He yelled at mum for having the dog on her lap while she was supposed to be teaching me how to drive lol. Edit: Oh yeah, and 2 RBT's, 1 on L's and the other on P's. The one on P's was in the zed which smelt like unburnt fuel at the time, so I was shitting myself hoping they didn't have a look at the car lol, would have been stickered for sure, and wouldn't pass the pits easily. The other RBT & the time I was pulled over both happened in the magna. I was just hoping neither of them looked at the tyres on the magna lol.

Pretty much. In one of the other states, I don't remember which one lol, you can get a $1,500 fine and 7 demerit points just for being caught with one, even if it's packed up and not in use.

Yeah, and they end up on the banned list too if the eastern states is anything to go by. Also, they want to ban all power modifications too, so basically, nothing short of an E30 M3, S2000 or DC5 integra type R would be remotely fast. Agree'd. I think it should be a similar course to GT4 for licences lol.

Bikes are different though, you can still get stupidly fast 250's, and it's only a year, not 2. I'm still a little undecided on this though. I think just knowing that they're planning to reduce P-platers to only 4 points has changed my driving habbits lol, and I wasn't exactly that bad before anyway.

Haha, just depends on the look of the car really. Aluminium usually looks better on most cars, especially older ones. But on some cars, like V35's for example, the poly looks better. IMO atleast. LOL, anything with a "Z" in it could be too by that theory.... Why can't they ban stupid shit like "VVVWVVV" instead lol....
