  1. Yeah, as infamous_t said, there's no fixed rates. Depends on the exact type of skyline, mods, your licence (how long you've had it & any fines & previous accidents, etc), your age, and a bunch of other stuff. I was quoted $2,000 just to insure mums magna for me to drive it lol. $2,600 for my car, so needless to say I'm not going to bother with fully comp, silly POS isn't even worth that lol.
  2. That would have been an R31 pintara, not a U12 pintara.
  3. Move to WA, our state government gives $1000 in addition to the federal governments $2000
  4. What LPG system are you actually running? I'm wanting to run a liquid phase injected setup once I've got other things sorted. Preferably the one from *this place* which should fit my budget and performance needs, although I'm still looking around at others.
  5. Haha, you could've said much worse. I like the no-kill policy this place has though.
  6. Skateboard grip stuff is like that, but self adhesive, hence easier. Just keep rubber ones in your car incase you get pulled over lol. That's what I plan on doing anyway. I stole the idea from autosalon magazine lol.

    Need Work

Hrmm, I may be interested in that one too lol.
  8. Aww f**k. So I watched it on monday for nothing, and still missed the bit I was waiting for lol. YouTube?
  9. Nope, they just had something about PMS, Donald Trump, & possibly something else that I've already forgotten.
  10. It didn't happen lol.
  11. x2 What's the go? Haha.
  12. Great idea dude! I just wish I had something to give now lol. I'll spread the word
  13. Ahh yes, more talk of the lowest common denominator (which I don't believe is as common as people think, but they're still there none the less). *walks off to watch today tonight* Edit: Came back because they're talking about PMS lulz, I'll go back in when mum tells me the specific bit I'm waiting for is on.
  14. Hrmm.. Emissions things that need to be vented to the exhaust before the cat.. What if your car is pre-86 and didn't come with a cat? Then can I have an atmo catch can? Or do I still need to vent it to the exhaust? Haha. Would also be interested if anyone knows about chassis strengthening legalities?
  15. First car was a 1986 R31 skyline wagon. Loved it lol. The only reason I got rid of it was because it was rust-f**ked, otherwise I'd probably still have it. Swapped it for a 1984 z31 300zx, made a list of all the problems, lets just say it needs a lot of time and about 2k to make it a decent car. Which, considering that a turbo conversion & manual conversion are included in that number, isn't too bad I guess. The problem is, I need a car that'll actually work without me throwing any money at it for when I get a job, and I'll also need it sooner rather than later so I can't afford to keep it, just don't have the time or money. So, I'm probably going to swap it with a mates manual VN sometime soon. If I end up doing that, the VN will be the first car that I'll actually try not to modify lol. I'll definately grab another z31 and/or r31 some time down the track though, 31 love
  16. I have to say, I think Rhys may be right about how the media spins this one around. I have seen a positive story on modified car drivers once, but that was on channel 10 a while back (around the time hoon laws came in). The thing that makes me worry about this time though, is that it's Today Tonight. They hate us more than the others lol.
  17. Aww shit, I can't find the edit post button.. Can someone please delete the above? Haha.
  18. Depends. If it's liquid phase injection, you wont lose any power, but if it's the other type of injection which I can't think of the correct name of due to my drunkness, you will lose some negligable power. In my opinion, liquid injected LPG is better than petrol. Whel the company that I aslso can't remember the name of comes out with their liquid phase injection kit which is estimated to be $2,500, I'll get one. but that's 4 - 6 months away. I'll fill in the blanks in the above post when I'm sober.
  19. *tries hard to not say something racist in his drunkeness*
  20. ROFL, that was the funniest thing I've read in ages.
  21. It may take its toll on those with normal sleeping patterns, but that's not me lol. Why can't people just use good judgement and common sence and not drive if they're tired or whatever? As for the 6 months thing.. Ugh, if flamin mongrels (Edit - ROFL @ word censor) didn't fake it that wouldn't be a problem. Again, that's a handfull of people being dickheads and bringing the rest of us down. As for justification for driving after 12.. Hrmm, only reasons they'll accept is for work, so I'm stuffed. Everything can be blamed on the lowest common denominator it seems, lol.
  22. I agree with the section in bold, but I fail to see how a curfew will stop this.
  23. Ahh right lol. Yeah, would be easy as, although I can see "random licence checks" getting more popular during those times haha. Edit: Just actually read your post again.. yeah, it was pretty obvious what you meant, I was just stupidly tired haha.
  24. Hahahaha, I mean it's green on one side and red on the other. Your friend is wrong. But they wouldn't be the first person to get them mixed up lol. What's krispy kreme? As for spamming the government to death with emails telling them how much they're made of fail, that sounds like it could be fun lol. If it were done properly atleast, the last thing we need is a bunch of sms-speak being sent to the government lol.
