  1. Black smoke from the exhaust is overfueling. If its doing it at idle then you probably have a vacuum leak or afm not hooked up at all (or not properly since you drove it for a whole day, might have fallen off / come loose). Also when you spilled the coolant, are there any fuse boxes below your coolant reservoir bottle? If so open then and make sure its all dry and no fuses are blown. Do you have an aftermarket ecu that you re-tuned with your high flowed turbos? Got a mate whos HR31 ran rich as hell after installing an RB25 turbo onto his RB20 running a power fc but hasnt been re-tuned yet and constantly fouls and kills his spark plugs. Hope that helps until the gurus get here. Cheers! Gagz
  2. Hey, I have an R32 GTR as well, the rear diff is an LSD (Limited Slip Differential) which on tight U turns will cause the inside wheel to slip a bit as its trying to turn the same amount as the outside wheel, you will notice this happening a lot on gravel surfaces. It does sound like you may have a problem though, the torque gauge shouldn't be going to 50% on gentle acceleration and it sounds like you have to force it in U turns (or is it even in just normal turns?), I would double check your TSC installation like you said. Have you checked your ATTESSA fluid level recently, don't know it would cause these symptoms but always good to eliminate as much as you can from the equation. Cheers! Gagz
  3. Basically you can get your old seat rails, cut of the mounts and weld them onto the universal rails in the same spot.....make sure you get it professionally welded though, might even have to be checked/assessed afterwards for safety standards sake.....don't want your seat coming off the mounts in an accident Cheers! 4. Yeah just got a clear cam cover and volk wheel centers through Nengun, took a few weeks to get the parts in but once it was shipped it only took a few days to reach my door. So far thumbs up from me. Cheers! Gagz
  5. Could someone with the know how of injector installation please confirm or correct what I said in the previous post about replacing my injector orings. Thanks, Gagz
  6. Hey Uras, Thanks for that info, is there anyone on SAU that sells the OEM o-rings? Got a Nissan dealer here but they are pretty dodgey. Also is it just a matter of disconnecting the injectors (after depressurizing the fuel system), removing them and putting the new o-rings on, and coat them in vaseline (thats what you meant when you said vas them?) and reinstall? If so then I can do that easy. Cheers! Gagz
  7. Hey All, Got an R33 N1 RB26 with Sard 800cc injectors but the fuel is leaking past them back into the engine bay. Its only a small amount, leaving the area around the injectors a bit grimy but it does seem to be affecting my A/F ratio, making it run lean at high revs. Would I just need to screw them in a bit harder, replace the O rings? (even though they should be new, unless the old ones or wrongs ones were used as they were installed before I bought the car) I dont think it would be a hard job, is there anything I should watch out for? Cheers! Gagz
  8. Hey All, Checked out PaulR33s pfc FAQ and answered my own question....it is a case of the wrong hand controller for my model power fc. http://paulr33.sauvic.com.au/docs/powerfc-...erfc-faq.htm#70 So anyone getting a commander for their existing pfc needs to check their pfc model no. against the model no. of the commander, not just rely on someone saying "it works on r32 and r33 gtrs". Anyone after a commander? Ill be putting it up for sale in the next couple of days, WITH the model no. Cheers! Gagz
  9. Hi All, Just recently got a second hand apexi power fc commander (hand controller) and plugged it in, but it doesnt work. All that comes up is the Apexi logo, I cant access the menu at all. Does this mean I have the wrong commander for the pfc Ive got? The bloke I bought it off said it works on r32 gtrs and r33 gtrs, i have a 32 gtr. Is there some jumper I have to change or something? The manual simply says to disconnect the car battery's negative and plug the commander in. Cheers! Gagz
  10. Hey, I would say that it wouldn't drop the tune at all unless manually reset to factory default or something. It obviously stores it in some type of ROM that doesn't require power to retain its memory, otherwise you would loose your tune every time your battery went flat or you disconnected it for some reason. Cheers! Gagz
  11. Yeah the car definitely drove like a rwd once the fuse was pulled....not a single bit of torque showed on the guage the whole time and there was plenty of reason for it to be there if it was connected With the front in the air, it wasnt just the vibration making them spin or something? Where they turning at a good rate or just slowly moving and could stop it with your hand? Cheers! Gagz
  12. I've got 255s all round but I doubt you have to have the same width, as im sure with hard cornering or lots of camber, driveway edges, etc... not all of the tyre will be on the ground at the same time. TurboX has the right of it, although I never thought about it until I read this thread...just always made sure my tyres where at correct pressures as its not good regardless to be driving around on a flat tyre. Cheers! Gagz
  13. Your actually supposed to keep to the inside lane as the other one is for the people coming the other way turning left and you only move over when its safe to do so...I do it most of the time in just trying to keep good driving habits for that time your not concentrating and there IS a car there....but in your situation it was obviously clear and safe to move over straight away and yes your not supposed to overtake on the left....he's just an impatient prick who thinks everyone should get out of his way which isn't the way to make friends on the road Hope it all works out for the better and no keyed guards. Cheers! Gagz
  14. Hey, Had my 32 gtr on a rwd dyno...just pulled the engine bay fuse and drove around the block to get rid of the pressure in the system. If its as simple as pulling the front shaft off though, will probably do that next time, dont have to worry then about the speculation on possibly damaging the clutches in the front transfer case and so on. Cheers! Gagz
  15. Hey Pezhead, Thats good you sorted out the "clunk" but in regards to the vibration when your fronts turn on, you probably want to get that checked out. Ive got a 32 GTR and it is very smooth like dilmah said, I mainly only know the fronts have turned on from the front torque guage going up and that my rears arent spinning like it would in my 31 with that much power Cheers!
