  1. Yes it is I assume you know him then? Bought it off him about a year ago, running sweet apart from popping an intercooler pipe two weekends ago. Na standard GTR front guards, must be the angle Cheers! Gagz
  2. Hey, In regards to an intercooler pipe popping off, this happened to me the other weekend. The difference between our stories, I heard a POP like Yawn did and then it lost power and had to pull over where it died and would only start and idle for about 5 sec before stalling. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=183402 So yeah check all your pipes, it may not be a big enough vacuum leak to stop the car like mine did but enough to let out pressurized air, ie no boost. Cheers! Gagz
  3. Na, my girlfriend was using a 7mp digital camera and i was using a 4mp digital camera....but i had a tripod and she forgot to put hers in the right mode so some of the pics come out a bit grainy. She's a budding photographist though, only using her new camera for a little while and getting some pretty good shots. Cheers! Gagz
  4. Hey, Here's a photo of my 32 from a little photo shoot I had tonight, rest of the pics in the thread below. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=184204 Cheers! Gagz
  5. Hey All, After getting the GTR going again and being such a nice night, decided to take a few shots out the front of the Bendigo Cathedral. Got some interesting angles and lighting effects, the 300ZX owner is my better half and loves her car as much as I love mine...which is saying something Enjoy!! Cheers! 6. Yes!....definitely on the to do list as soon as I can get a day off and get her down to Melbourne....wouldn't trust anyone in the town I live in with a 250 foot pole... Cheers! Gagz
  7. Hey, I've got an R32 GTR with 270 4wkw putting it to the ground through 255 tyres on all corners and my box is holding up fine, I think that sort of power is good for an 11 pass...not sure as I havent put her down the strip yet. Putting a high quality oil like redline in your box might help prolong wear and smoothen the shifts a bit and like you said, don't do any high rev dumps. Cheers! Gagz
  8. I've got an OS twin plate in my 32 GTR running 270 4wkw and works a treat. It does take a bit of getting used to if you havent used one before or a button clutch, but after an hour or so you'll have it down pat. Not hard on the legs at all, though I have been driving trucks for a while and my R31 daily driver has a exedy heavy duty clutch so you could say my leg has been 'conditioned'. The couple of people who have driven the GTR though and dont normally drive a car with an aftermarket clutch had no problems apart from trying to let it out too quick with not enough revs Cheers! 9. Hey All, After closer inspection, it WAS an intercooler pipe. The pipe on the inlet/passenger side of the intercooler had come off and had a gap big enough to put a couple of fingers in but was hard to see from casual glance as its half hidden by an air guide for the oil cooler. My intercooler inlet/oultet and pipes are all lipped and clamped really good, this is why I thought it unlikely to happen but had some repairs done recently on the front bar and I think they had the pipes disconnected at some stage so they probably didnt put it back on properly Thank god it wasnt anything serious Thanks everyone for all your help and input. Cheers! Gagz
  10. I've used a K&N pod filter on my R31 that is an oiled element and found it worked good apart from killing my AFM....the oil from the pod will eventually coat the hot wire in the AFM, creating incorrect readings and ends up killing the AFM. I use two dry element apexi power intake filters on my 32 GTR at 14psi and they work great, apexi definately one of the top filters out there. Cheers! Gagz
  11. Hey, Don't think its an intercooler pipe but I haven't had a good look yet so will check out. Think the afms are fine too, plugs looked fine. Will have a closer look tonight and report back my findings, I've got a bad feeling though I've done something worse than an intercooler pipe. Cheers! Gagz
  12. Hey All, Was a nice day so had the gtr out for a spin, started the engine around about 11:45am and noticed some white smoke drifting past my window. Didn't do it anymore after I got moving...about an hour later after being at the botanical gardens, started her again, couldn't notice any white smoke. Drove around a couple of corners, got to an 80km zone so accelerated quickly up to speed and then I hear this weird pop while still accelerating and then I start loosing power....basically the car wont respond just continually loose speed until I pull over into a side road where it dies on me....now the car will start and run for about 5 seconds roughly while blowing black smoke rings and then dies...if I start it with some accelerator it runs smooth for about 2 seconds then fluctuates once and dies...nothing I do will keep it running, ended up having to get it put on the tray truck and transported home, pushed into the garage with me sitting with my chin in my hand wandering what happened. Any ideas anyone, I do have a injector leak issue which causes it to run lean sometimes and makes the engine warning light come on (was not far off getting it fixed, hope its not the cause). Running a power FC with sard 800cc injectors, greddy adj. cam gears, r34 n1 turbos running about 14psi. Thanks, Gagz
  13. Thanks but its definitely the O2...I know what one looks like as Ive replaced three of them in the past on other cars and I could see the unplugged cable leading straight to the O2 that was connected to my dump pipes....couldn't see it from above as Ive got two turbos and two 4" turbo dump pipes blocking my vision Cheers! Gagz
  14. Cool, get a bit over 500km per tank on the highway, not sure about town but i think its pretty good. Thanks guys. Gagz
  15. Hey All, Had my 32 gtr up on the hoist the other day and noticed the O2 sensor wasnt hooked up, the plug was just sitting there with no connecting plug to the loom\wire harness in sight. Im running an Apexi PFC and it seems to run fine without it, does it need to be connected though?? Im thinking I might get a bit better fuel economy if it was hooked up. Cheers! Gagz
  16. I was there for the last one in my 31 (didnt own the 32 at the time, funnily enough it was one of the gtrs on display there ), was simply an awesome event, especially with the gibson gtr and gtsr cars and race dr30 there on display and racing around the sprint circuit at deca all at once. I should be there for 2008, will let you know Mastadd closer to January. Cheers! Gagz
  17. You can still get a fairly decent R32 GTR for around $23,000 private sale, some with 34 N1 turbos which can easily pump 300+ 4wkw....just gota shop around a bit, wait till the right one turns up I agree though, if its a daily driver you dont want a GTR. S15s are pretty mean looking. How much power do you actually want? Im sure a stock R32 GTR gripping with all 4s will be a big difference from a pulsar. Cheers! Gagz
  18. Hey, Just wandering if the harness is still for sale and how many you actually have...as in 1 set for the driver and 1 set for the passenger? Cheers! Gagz
  19. I think it looks pretty good but I do agree you can easily see the 350 influence and was a bit disappointed that they went a V6 instead of a straight 6 like all GTRs before have had. Cheers! Gagz
  20. Thanks, thats good to know.....if thats conservative, then the rest of the guys are worrying about nothing when they are reading 30s. Cheers!
  21. Hey All, I've got a power fc but no hand controller (getting one soon though), so I cant check this setting. I've been told the check engine warning light in my dash detects the same thing - detonation. Does anyone know what relative value it comes on at, like 20-30?? Cheers! Gagz
  22. Hi, Just wandering if you will sell the PFC hand controller seperately? I have a PFC but no controller. Cheers! Gagz
  23. Hey, That would be great if you could take pics of it in the car....very interested. Thats great that no interior modification is needed as mine is in mint condition and thats the way i want to keep her. To mount it, do you just drills holes and bolt it to the floor or do you need plates welded on? Maybe if you could get a couple of pics of the mountings as well, that would be very helpful. Cheers! Gagz
  24. Thanks but I've got a complete GTR, thats all that is missing They look pretty mean without the cover anyway, I only want it for originallity and for car shows. Let me know if you want to seperate. Cheers! Gagz PS: When I say Coil/Valley cover, I mean the same thing.
  25. Hi Exxu1, Could you please post some pics and where are the mounting points, will it go into a standard interior without interior modification or do you have to cut it up to fit? Cheers! Gagz
