Yeah if you any play games then it is totally use less!!!! Im totally the opposite, don't play games but rather use my xbox as a media centre. Im running the application XBMC as my xbox's dashboard. The LCD is great as when i play tv episodes or dvd's it shows you how long into the movie you are and how long to go. Also when not playing movies the LCD tells the time and it makes a great night hallway/lounge room light so you can walk around without the lights on So apart from looking fully sick it is very useful if you are playing plenty of movies/songs/tv episodes etc. (Just ordered the X3IR so i dont have to get up to turn the xbox on and off i can now do it with the remote)
