  1. After what we thought was a stuffed AFM, we found the Pod intake pipe was loose. all tightened up, now the boost is surging and it hits max boost (around 10psi) with little spooling... The surging feels as if the car is idling high, then low... but its the boost. I have the manual for the controller but I really don't understand the terminology.. Start Boost Set Boost Set Gain I've searched the forums and read posts after posts, but I still struggle to understand what is best to set it at... I'd just like some 'safe' settings to input and be done with it, as when I eventually sell the car, the controller is going in the leggy. I know there are a few of you on here that have this EBC and was hoping you could tell me exactly what to set the 'start boost' at etc etc.. Thanks Kylie
  2. have you tried them or are they too far away for you?
  3. mine did this, turned out to be low on brake fluid ( i think..mitchy?)
  4. I'd give it more then a few days I'm sure we could possibly gather a leggy or two or three aswell. I may be interested if my car hasn't sold by then lol and after I see brad about my suspension.
  5. Chuckie I wasn't being negative, I was merely stating my reason for not attending, and... err... ummm... you have met us both (time before last) Mitchy was racing his leggy and I introduced myself to you and Carl. Anyways, I've raced my wagon, and although I'd like to see what she does now with a few tweaks here and there, I wont go down in a black car in 40 degree heat! I'd rather it cooler any day! Least you can chuck a jumper on...
  6. nup too hot and boring if your not racing lol not to mention $15 just to watch hoons, I don't think so
  7. found out today that I don't have the abs fuse in at all and my injectors fuse is running a 15A instead of the 10A that is suggested...is this bad?
  8. oh no you in Kal or near there? One of our drivers got caught in the traffic. We turned him around and flew the stuff to kal at 4am this morning!!

  12. Whats everyone doing for new years eve? Mitch and I will be having a bbq and lazing around the pool, if anyone would like to join us. I'm not one for going out these days. Costs way too much and I hate dealing with really drunk abusive mobs. So if you're stuck for something to do, PM for the address. Kylie and Mitch
  13. brad how much for the front bar and side skirts??
  14. he's planned it all along, he worked out he needed 500hp to spin the cast iron 20" chrome rims he wants.
  15. (mitch here... i cant login to my account!) interesting... i dont doubt you that it doesnt fit, just seems odd. the manifold i put on kylies stagea was a R33 stock manifold too... what was your high mount manifold fouling on? PS - you can keep your manifold, i had enough fun replacing two manifolds and two gaskets within the space of one weekend, thats enough for me
  16. might be rained off
  17. sorry for this post, mitchy doesn't know how to use his own account!
  18. welcome to the forums
  19. yeah its a big waiting game... but there is someone out there that will fall in love with your car
  20. just becareful with HBF, they say agreed value now, but in a years time when its time to renew, they will tell you that the market value has dropped considerably (which it already has) and they will drop your agreed value. Which doesn't make it agreed anymore..more like market value I'm with Shannons, like I said, pay $982 per year, agreed value $20,000 with mods, payments are taken over 12 months without raising the annual premium, I could get a new windscreen every year if I wanted. What I like about Shannons is my choice of repairer... now up until last week, I really didn't understand how that works.. For those that don't know... I go to any repairer I want, get a quote, Shannons then come and assess the damage against the quote and if its a fair quote, it gets fixed. I think that is great. Shannons will come out to where ever my car is, whether I'm at work or home. The process of making a claim is easy and without hassle....no need to claim through someone else's insurance, when its not your fault.
  21. spotted silver stag this morning about 7:30am heading past Shacks holden in fremantle (Queen Victoria Street ) had sticker on the rear side window... I was at the lights on ord street waiting to turn right.
  22. Kirstie the only stag there isn't a bad thing... most of the skyline peeps like taking a look at one up close
  23. I put 56ltrs in her the other day and got 450kms out of her and thats city driving with the occasional boost. and without the fuel light on... at the moment she is sitting on 395kms with just under a quarter to go. I must say though, I do coast a lot and read the traffic several cars ahead... I occasionally give it stick, due to my temper rising some times being stuck behind stinky diesel vans and incompetent drivers.. lol so whats so special about my car? SAFCII Greddy EBC Apexi Pod FMIC and always BP Ultimate!
  24. I'm with Shannons and couldn't be happier
  25. I LOVE SHANNONS INSURANCE!!!!!!!!! Not only are they taking care of it, they have waived my excess, it doesn't affect my no claim bonus and its my choice of repairer. All I need to do is get a quote, they'll assess the damage to the quote and give approval for the work to be carried out!
