  1. I'd go the white... my car is black, rarely off boost and never been pulled up... being female and a wagon, she wont be bothered
  2. hey Shayne, how did you go with your fmic? Mitchy did my fmic not long ago... and Kermit did my exhaust so recommend both
  3. You didn't ask a thing about the motor chi.....Had you inspected the motor prior to purchasing it, you would of seen that it had no dipstick. Even I picked that up... You were told there was no dipstick, you were told that there was a stuffed turbo 'sitting' (NOT BOLTED) onto the motor and were given a good turbo separately. You didn't pay for the stuffed turbo you're trying to flog for $300-$200... There was no dipstick when Mitchy bought the motor, that is why he got the compression test and leak down test done! NO explaination because you've never asked, and we don't know why either... only that it was built by Ray Ferrari (look him up and ask him yourself) Mitchy does know what compression his motor possessed...as said earlier, he got it done because he had no dipstick. Chi Can you please not post when you don't know what you're talking about... As Michael stated its a stock motor running stock turbo ecu. Agreed! And advised he did this how long ago Chi?? 2-3 months now. Left it a bit late I think! I know you only came here to ask why do people block off dipsticks, you were given the answer, you've been given the guys name who built the motor, call him and ask him. While you're talking to him, ask him if he can do a leak down test for you... but as you've left it way too late, there is no liability that lies with Mitchy anymore. Mitchy is a trusting person to buy from. His trader rating shows that. The motor was running perfectly before being rear ended. No reason why it would be stuffed now unless you ran the stuffed turbo on the motor with no gaskets, no copper washers, and no oil.
  4. thanks for the replies. I don't have to sell her. I saw an awesome R34 and feel drawn to the car.. there is no loan to pay out, was just hoping if I sold her I could buy the 34 with no more to pay... perhaps the price will drop. I'll sit and wait
  5. lol Chi, I know you're not trying to cause any problems.. I was just clearing up the questions people had...

  9. /edit: Trolling
  10. I posted to clear something up about the motor people are speculating about. Chi posted a question and only a few have tried to answer it, the rest are trolling. I can use that word can't I??? If moderating was done fairly on this forum, there wouldn't be a need for you to comment. Seems being a mod round here gives instant 'double standards'.
  11. I'm talking about the motor Chi is posting about. What are you talking about?
  12. how long would you take to service it? And could you do it on a Saturday? I'm always up for a weekend away bunbury is only 2hour drive
  13. just to clear up something. The motor had a compression test and the results were 165psi on all cylinders and less than 3% leakage. There is nothing wrong with the motor. The dipstick is a mystery and if you don't know why people block them off, then why bother answering and trolling the thread? Cheers Kylie
  14. oh yeah I'm pretty sure BNR32 belongs to Tom? (TOPAZ)?? Correct me if I'm wrong!

  18. Not many auto skylines out there, but I was hoping for any recommendations for an Auto Transmission specialist to service my STAGEA's transmission and not just a fluids change... a proper service. I would prefer to hear from people that have used them before, not on hear say.. Thanks Kylie
  19. like I said above and beyond
  20. phenline you have to remember that some people around here think they are above and beyond... Thread isn't pointless to the right people. Did Kermit sell it to the guy who has listed the car? Justin in Como??
  21. was he notified his thread was moved?
  22. Good Luck with getting work with no experience. Since airing on 60minutes there has been 100's of enquiries. Always the way. Perhaps start with Hays. http://www.hays.com.au/main/default.aspx And if you can do a MARCSTA http://www.marcsta.com/ Some companies that flyin/flyout would fly you in and out of Perth but then it would be up to you to get to where you gotta go. Don't fret though, You wont miss out on the boom. WA has mine sites all over. http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/BA2F61481CD...BC3D38D01A7.asp
  23. tis his bunky while waiting for his new one
