  2. random...
  3. bit more involved than that, but thats the general gist of it think "FIRE!!!' tried something a bit different, not sure what i think of it tho. bike messenger. (get it? lol)
  4. almost makes adelaide look bigger than it is... almost, lol 'another day another rooftop'
  5. random self portrait / rig shot with the go pro. i probably should have smiled, lol.
  6. found my way onto a new rooftop today. spewing nearly every building in adelaide is only 5-15 levels high tho, lol
  7. haha, yeah i have a few times. its worse when your doing something retarded like singing or dancing. autumn leaves or not, thats an awesome photo sidd!
  8. tried to use the reflection in the lift to replace the leg that was hanging out the door added bonus, the angle gave some nice recursion with a nice gentle turn that would be epic! ooh, and paint a line on the ground to act as the reflection of the death ray! mwhahaha. cant wait to see more matboy
  9. so jealous! i dont get to go out and do night photos anymore because of work. this is as close as it gets... sunset as seen from inside a bus the last remnants of sunset as the bus powers up the expressway getting overtaken by everything else with wheels :'( lol
  10. lol at my camera failing to capture color near the sun, haha
  11. relaxing in the parklands
  12. actually, for once I had been straight for a few hours when I took that.
  13. i dont use a PC nor do I have money to spend, lol
  14. i wish there was an easier way to do them on a mac. i pretty much split the video down into frames and then used a photoshop action to tilt shift all the frames as a batch. wasnt pretty, haha. keen to see more tho, i just dont have the patience for stuff like that these days.
  15. one more from today... and one from tonight...
  16. I'd say this would work better with a higher viewing angle. Doesnt seem to really convey the 'miniature' effect with such low camera angles I think. i tried a few tilt shift vids a while back and found the higher the angle the better it looked. im no pro tho, so i could be way wrong. http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1472752651887
  17. took some photos of a friends band in the recording studio today. they were also getting a film clip made at the same time. was pretty tough, lol. ISO was up at 1600/3200 for most shots. times like these i really miss having a DSLR that I can chuck a 1.8 or better lens on. lol i seriously had no idea what i was doing, haha.
  18. should have posted this one, is nice...
  19. few more gopro shots...
  20. killing it with the rig shots matt!
  21. i thought this at first, and in general you are right, but... if you want shots with extreme "fisheye" curves then framing gets a bit trickier without a viewfinder. also getting up nice and close to subjects is a bit hit and miss, specialy if you want to use the curvature of the wide angle lens effectively. just my thoughts on it tho. some shots i wish i had tilted the cam just a few more degress to get better framing. i guess the more you use it the better you get at guessing what you will get.
  22. not bad, still prefer my office tho, so much bigger... just a small view of it EDIT: Damn! now i know why vodafone has such crap service, spending all their money on weird shaped offices rather than on infrastructure to handle their growing customer base, lol.
  23. the shots you could get with an aquaone would make the initial expense worth it. but what an initial expense it is! i looked into cases for nikons and nearly died that the prices were near enough what the body was awesome family shot there sidd! you certainly have a way with people and portraits.
  24. yeah all the gopros come with a case that includes a waterproof back. they are crap underwater tho, but they can be fixed. the curved lens stuffs up focus on them so a lot of people are hacking flat lenses to go over the round one with some success. theres even some you can buy that have a red filter built in and the difference it makes to underwater shots is unreal! i have to get a new case soon, i chipped the lens on mine and then went and cut a hole in the side of it so i dont have to take it out to charge it, haha.
  25. was pretty happy with this shot from the gopro, specially with no viewfinder of any kind. i call it my P&P camera... point & pray, lol.
