  1. this was in todays paper (The Leader) the article and photo were both by me. i think the flash on the left of frame may have been turned up a little too much, getting some shadows on the back wall of the shed. could do with an extra umbrella. spewing that sponsors names were edited out of the article though (not to mention lack of credit) ah well. have another photo and article in a different paper, just waiting for a pdf of that to come through.
  2. wow, looks like i need to do a road trip to sydney at some stage. much more decent graff than i have been led to believe, lol. *eats humble pie*
  3. nah dude, in adelaide where all the good graff is http://photos.jay019.com/graffiti/
  4. haha, sorry I am pretty slack. (looks to be a work in progress up top there. might be due for another trip down in a couple of weeks, lol)
  5. 70-200mm. would be nice to have a 100-400 but the 200 will do for now.
  6. ah yeah, the DA article, yeah it is. so thats good.
  7. er, no credit means my name wasnt listed as one of the photographers even though the two largest pics in the Fast Fours article were taken by me. probably just an oversight on their part tho, hoping to get that sorted soon. and i use a nikon. check the exif
  8. nice!!! do like i took some graff pics today also, will upload them in the morning
  9. cheers man, but dont think im one of the best, just a major drift junkie who cant help but be out there all the time. Some pics ive taken lately as seen in a couple of magazines... Performance Imports (issue coming out soon) Fast Fours (current Feb issue) unfortunately no credit for the Fast Fours photos, but hopefully sorting that out soon.
  10. hey luke, if you mean the mostly grey one without the fender mirrors, thats Jay Duca. Him and Benny definately showed everyone how to do an awesome tandem run.
  11. ah. was going to say in theory it could be used at almost any angle. only drawback is that its a straight transition, where it may not always be a straight transition that you need to overcome.
  12. i should also add that sometimes the best locations you will find totally by accident. i took a wrong turn when I was doing a shoot for HPI and we ended up pulling into a driveway to do a u-turn but discovered an awesome little spot to do a shoot and did it there instead. keep your eyes open as spots are everywhere and waiting to be discovered.
  13. Had a go at light painting with my car tonight. Didnt feel that inspired. Oh, also realised how much of a dirty p1g I have let it become. Car wash tomorrow me thinks. lol.
  14. Went out to the Eagle Champs to shoot some MTB pics. MTB is kinda new for me so I still have a lot to learn so any CC or suggestions for improvement would be appreciated. (Click for larger versions) More pics on my site at http://photos.jay019.com/EagleChamps2010/ And thats me caught up now. Will post again when I have some new stuff.
  15. I love graffitti... http://photos.jay019.com/graffiti/
  16. need to do these in a darker location *shakes fist at street light*
  17. This is from the same weekend I took the JDM.X.PARK pics above, but this time I got to play a bit and get abstract again. 1/3 a second of night drifting awesomeness. the aim was more to get some nice light streaking effects, but then the tyres started sparking and i knew something cool was about to happen. lol and then i went off and played with the camera a bit. this first one is a merge of 6 pics. its the moon in the sky and i was moving the camera to create the letters/numbers. definately not as easy as it seems. and just a few more weird ones...
  18. ok, changed my thread into a general photography thread. so, heres a few bits and pieces from the last year...
  19. london / scotland road (or somewhere in that area) in mile end. even next to vilis can work well when its not too busy. port adelaide has a few nice streets that have an industrial feel the banks of the torrens. although, i think you need permission from the council. even port galwer can work well... try some laneways in the city. theres a few good walls down south here (beach road) possibilities are endless really.
  20. lol. havent taken any pics yet this month. so posting for updates to remind me
  21. he means your watermark, the 'rm photography' tag. needs more anti alais
  22. Nice one! cheers guys. another one from that day... Also, went to Autofest out at Murray Bridge this weekend for a drift demo and bogan show. A couple of pics from that... Wall scrape!!!
  23. Couple of pics from MTB champs in Adelaide last weekend... More on my site at http://photos.jay019.com/EagleChamps2010/
