Came along for a quick look. Took a few pics... The rest are at http://photos.jay019.com/OSNA_2009-03-28/ Didnt end up staying long cause the kids were getting restless, but was good to see some real nice cars out. Got some top ideas for the Skyline Nationals for next year (all ages bouncy castle anyone? ) The SAU display was pretty nice. Wasnt too keen on that sticker covered skyline tho. lol. Ooh, and sweet, loved the R31 GTS2! Nice bloke who owns it too.

Cheers. I used a Nikon D40 for these shots, but just recently upgraded to a D90. I definately do need to learn to slow the shutter speed down. My panning skills are not that great but its something that I'll keep trying to get right over the coming year as I plan on being at every drift event at Mallala. Its definately a new skill im trying to learn as I come from an "abstract art" type of background and am still fairly new to photography.

Yeah true, front shots do look awesome, but I also wanted a bit of variety otherwise id have a couple hundred shots that all look the same. Next practice i'll be heading off to the first S's for some shots there as well as some more experimental shots like the very last one.

OK. Not a pro photographer or anything, I just like taking pics and watching drifts. I also take weird/abstract photos too.

May not be the prettiest R33 around with its matt black paint job and shark fins on the roof and stuff, but I nearly messed my pants when i saw this one last weeked...

Is there a thread for the Drift Practice on the 14th? I have some pics of a few of the skylines to post.

Lol, only person in the club. It's not like there are people organising jackets/shirts/stickers/keyrings/barmats, oh noooooooo, only Adam Brown organises stuff for the r31 skyline club. Pfffft. Dude, the reason you were flamed is over 1 year of not keeping people informed. Seriously, its not that freaking hard to let people know whats going on. And dont try that "couldnt log in" horeshit as tensop has shown that to be a load of f**king crap. Why didnt you just man up and let people know "hey theres been a bit of a f**k up, want a refund or a different jacket."? Hell, ive been through a similar situation with club keyrings that i organised and I managed to let everyone know the second i recieved the email saying i got a wrong quote. But then again, I actually TRIED to log in and let people know.

Do you have the centre console (the bit that goes around the stereo?)

Yeah, will be doing my own speaker wiring. Once U-pull-it has an R31 in I will hopefully get the mounting cradle and other bits for the console.

Hi there, I'm a new member as I bought a 1988 R31 GX Skyline today. Pretty happy with it although it needs a little work to get it into prime condition. Don't have a photo as yet, but check back and I'll have one posted within a week. I am in the hospital with my 2 week old son at the moment. It was bought as a family car not a thrasher, so it wont be getting turboed or bodykitted etc. It's on gas which I like, $25 for a full tank is nice. Will know later how many k's this gets me, my Commie was getting 250-300. Anyway... Just wanted to say hi, so... Hi! Jay
