  1. eeek, double post this little old bike is getting around and a couple more from the same night I think I blew out the foreground a bit on this one. Damn reflective frost, lol
  2. lol, i have no idea how well it sold. i only know that pretty much all of the content was donated and not paid for. probably a good thing but you and Kory should definitely be covering Sydney action
  3. haha, yeah its a bit noisy like this >.< i plan on doing a restoration on it, after I do a series of night shots of it in various locations. sweet action shots!
  4. got another new bike today The Old BIke by photon vandal, on Flickr
  5. yeah, just walked past it with the LED stick. sort of. i had a try with it and wasnt too sure if it was what i had in mind at all. i think converting it to b&w might be worth a try. kory, love the colors in that shot, awesome dude. only thing i could think of that would improve the shot is a tiny bit of light on the ground to give the car/tyres some seperation from the background. any other color and it wouldnt be an issue at all, but with the black on black it starts to dissapear into the background a bit. other than that its perfect. unless its just my monitor being a bit too dark?
  6. haha, i wouldnt feel confident enough to jump a step through frame. it still feels weird not standing on pedals or footpegs. i did do a little burnout on it today tho, just a quick one as it was in the driveway. looking forward to doing a proper smoking tyreshredder soon tho, need a new front tyre anyway, so going to chuck it on the back and see if i can pop it cant wait to see what these RBG strips can do in the hands of a decent photographer, i reckon we will be seeing some epic stuff soon
  7. Spot color is really hard to get good results from. Have a go at a de-saturated look. So not quite B&W, but tone down the colors a bit. Not sure if it will work, but worth a try. Got some new wheels the other day. Was an absolute bargain. So cheap to get around on, just cant carry a whole lot, lol. Also slows right down going up big hills, but you get that. Better than not being able to go out at all cause it costs too much to fill up the elgrand, lol.
  8. ive been getting a few sunset shots lately. no super exotic locations tho, just some local spots.
  9. Any other Nissan Elgrand owners on here?
  10. he has a point tho. since when was an R32 'another nissan import' instead of a skyline, the focus of the forum
  11. cheers man. its not a new technique, but finding pics that work well with it is the challenge. you always impress me with your lighting setups. far out man, mind is blown! sooooo freaking awesome!
  12. i so sorry it all started with stuff like this (and then got outta control. fn beer & photoshop, lol)...
  13. old pic, but a new edit "so you wanna be a drift superstar, live large! huge smoke, 20 cars, wait wut???"
  14. i was keen but then saw that it cost money to enter which counts me out, lol
  15. edit on an old pic... been keen to try these for a while but was always too lazy, lol
  16. yeah, i ninja up, lol. and the amount of time really depends on the piece and how much you need to do. it varies a lot. took this while standing on my roof, lol
  17. yeah, basically just hold the LED near the wall and move the light smoothly. doesnt always work perfect tho (top of the right ear on brain and the mountain behind him) but thats part of the fun. that and the night missions seeing awesome art on walls. its also not just the outlines but some of the fill/highlights also (just not in the above one as that piece was across from a brightly lit bikeway so i had to try and battle ambient light and the shadows it causes, so the fill didnt come out bright enough)
  18. cheers matt. and as you wish...
  19. Sidd, your portrait work always amazes me dude, always top quality! got new shoes that dont leak so ventured out last night...
