R34 Parts (gt-t And Gtr)
def_jamz112 replied to Downforce's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
are the gtt and gtr boot lids the same, or is there a difference?? cheers -
i am biased towards the skylines, so if you want a bit more power and plan to mod it a bit go the r33, its newer but its also more common.. the r32 is an awesome little car i had one for a few years and loved it, the rb20 is not as powerful obviously but in the drivers seat its not that bad, you can't tell. when i bought mine i had almost a year left on my P's and i only had an auto License (the car was manual).. the best thing to do is try get one that looks stock.. stock exhaust, stock wheels etc.. then just drive normal and don't go thrashing it everywhere, i never got pulled over. I don't know what happens if they pull you over and find out its turbo.. that law wasn't out. same problems with most second hand cars.. make sure its in good condition and been treated well, get it checked especially because they are getting on in age. its pretty much personal opinion with which car you should get.. i know i'm in the same boat and its hard but everyone will tell you something different, so get what YOU like the most.. Its a TOUGH choice to make, but which ever one you choose, you'll love it

Another 'i Need A Car' Thread
def_jamz112 replied to def_jamz112's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Why The f**k Are You Talking Like That? Its f**king Annoying. i've been in a couple, never driven one though. Lol i don't see anything wrong with what he said?? anyway thanks to all who replied, btw another rb20 would be fun, i just want something different i think i have decided an R34 gtt would be cool, its newest, its got looks, comfort, power.. but hard to find a low kms one within my budget an R32 GTR would be my pick, a nice metallic black one, looks, power, potential, class, would be a whole new experience to me, but finding a later model in good condition, if thats even possible = out of my budget an R32 rb25 its got looks, power, and i am familia with the 32 = within budget so i know down the track i will want a gtr but we'll see what happens. opinions? -
hey mate had a 12" pioneer in the back of my 32 it was in a pioneer box with a and fit snugly in the boot although i had to remove the grill but was all good.

I don't know, I love the rear wheel drive platform, and i've never really thought about a gtr or driven one because i used to think they were out of my league lol. I like the r34 because its newness (airbags, abs, traction control - good for the wet) and its looks, but i've always had a soft spot for the 32 and i miss mine. haha so confused. -
Hi all, im currently in the market for another car, first car was stolen last year and i still havn't replaced it LOL i had an r32 gts-t and i loved it, started to get a bit bored with the power, but overall i really enjoyed it. So now i really need a car, its been too long and my girlfriend hates being my taxi driver lol. my options are either one of: r32 gts-t with an rb25 aim for mid 250kw with supporting mods, r34 gtt - pretty standard, might try for up to 200kw down the track with some boost/remap, r32 gtr - pretty standard, might try for 220kw down the track with a bit of boost/remap. im sort of leaning towards the first option, but get an r32 and do the convo myself but every time i think about what i want i really dont know.... i want them alll hahha so what are your opinions/ experiences with either of them??

For Sale 1993 R32 Gts-t Rb25 Immaculate!
def_jamz112 replied to JASRB25's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
hey mate is it still for sale? get some pics up if u can.. -
hey guys a few clarifications.... did i say 5 x 114.5 PCD lol, of course i meant 5 x 114.3 lol just got lazy and typed this up quickly.. also the bloke i bought these off did say about 70% tread as i just checked my emails... so he was bang on there. I was also told they were 7.5 wide but they are in fact 7" as it says it on the back of each rim which is perfect for a 32 or 33 but i think the 34's came out with 7.5" stock so wouldn't want to go smaller i would think.

R32 Rb25det Conversion Worth It?
def_jamz112 replied to battery's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Been there done that.. thats how i lost my 32. FEMNO - I have taken a r33 for a test drive, and to be honest it didn't really impress me that much.. I could definitely feel the weight difference, how much bigger it is, and the power delivery was more linear (maybe i was used to the rb20, nothing, nothing, nothing, wooooooo). I couldn't really push it that much though b'coz the sales man came with me , it may or may not be quicker but i jst didn't enjoy it as much. Will the weight of the 34 make it fell like a 'commodore' lol? and will it make it harder than the 32 to throw around in the turns? -
R32 Rb25det Conversion Worth It?
def_jamz112 replied to battery's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
i was contemplating both rb25 and rb30 conversions for quite some time. But i was thinking of saving up a bit more and buying an r34 gtt, basically coz its newer, no head aches with cops, the nicer engine..ect i was leaning towards r34 thats why im selling my gear, but every time i think about it i end up changing my mind what are your opinions?? R32/rb25 R32/rb30 R34 gtt - pushing around 200rkw for now would the extra weight of the r34 make that much of a difference? damn thats quick. would a 250rkw r34gtt be as quick? edit: btw battery, i also really enjoyed my rb20 when i had it, it was the best fun. It wasn't my decision to get rid of it so i guess it was a sign that its time for a change. lol.. And Sorry I couldn't help u out with your questions, my bad for stealing your thread. -
hey mate are you still after a stock exhaust? i have one for sale check it out here if you would like pics or want to know more let me know cheers.
-
sorry just realised your from nsw lol... if it makes it easier for anyone im happy to remove the tire from the cracked rim and fit it to the new rim and just sell the 4 good ones, it'll be cheaper for postage that way. i can take a photo of the tred left for you if you wish but you can pretty much see there's still tred left in the photo i've already posted and if anyone wants a photo of the damaged rim let me know also.

hey all i've decided to sell my left overs.. car was stolen last year and these were sitting in my garage at the time: I have a set of 5 Black wheels with a chrome lip, 17 * 7, 5 * 114.5 I bought these of a fellow forum member last year only he forgot to mention that one of them had a crack in it. I bought a new one and had them booked in to get fitted, but my car was stolen so i was left with the wheels. SO i have set of 5 wheels for sale: $900 1 brand new still in box never even taken out, 3 good condition and 1 with a crack in it, have tires on all except the new one. no centre caps except for new wheel, i think it looks better without anyway. This is what they look like on a 32 - previous owners car without centre caps Also have the Stock r32 gts-t exhaust, perfect for clearing defects, good to have just in case: $250 can't be bothered taking pics its under the house, excellent condition, you all know what they look like, however, if you really want pics let me know. Thats about it, Thanks.
