No doubt this kid has learnt his lesson by shock tactics and will be more cautious in the future. I don't think a 12yo has enough road sense to be riding on the road either (they dont have to pass a road rules test do they). I have a drive way that is difficult to see pedestrians too and with a primary school around the corner I am always so so careful of driving out, kids are unpredictable. As for insurance and who should pay. If it is lotsa$$$ to fix and you have comprehensive insurance you could ask him to pay the excess (plus a bit$$$ for the inconvenience). Just a suggestion if you have to work with him and want to keep the peace.

Thanks. It is auto tiptronic so I only drive it in tiptronic. I would have loved a manual but they were more expensive. I had to decide between non turbo (GTX) or tiptronic (GTT). So of course I had to chose the GTT. Can always convert it to manual one day if I have enough money. Yes I have become accustomed to the sunroof, wasn't a priority when I bought the car, but I love it now. You will have to post pic'c when you get your GTT.

Thanks to the guys at RE Customs for servicing my R34 today which now makes 166.4rwkw. An improvment on 137.4kw from the weekend dyno day. Ace photo's evade.

your worst nightmare. I guess they will be donating their pocket money for the respray. The S2 front bar is a little different, and I don't think it can be easily modified to allow for a FMIC though. I would probably get another alternative front bar rather than hack this one to bits, it is still in excellent condition.

I would use State Roads rather than RACV, if you dont have a mechanic. I have used them in the past, very happy with the comprehensive report, mechanically (including compression), accident history and general condition of the vehicle. IMO too.

I was on the dyno straight after you and I thought 'whoo hoo I should make more than the GTR, this will make my kw figure look more impressive' jokingly after we knew your GTR was obviouly not making what it should. Then I had problems too and only made 137.4kw I was disappointed too. But hey there is always next time after all the problems are fixed. What key ring??

Mmmmmm not likely, but I will keep in mind, although my son has left a tooth mark in the top of my steeting wheel when he decided to bite it. . I agree, does look better.

The only advantages of being old and having made no claims, cheaper insurance, I pay $800 for R34 GTT 4dr.
