Thanks peoples. Nathan - Yes washing your car is like a rain dance. Luckily she gets to stay in her garage when the weather is wet. SS8_Gohan - You can make big pic little but you cant make little pics big, sorry . I only use Meguiars products after attending one of the educational demo days at their factory. Washed with Meguiars NXT Generation car wash (purple product with green lids). Touched up a few scratches/road tar/bug guts with Meguiars Scratch X. You can use this clay stuff too that removes all contaminents on the paint, takes a long time though. Polish with another Meguiars polish, cant recall exact range. Wax NXT Generation, time permitted only one coat at the moment, but two or three would give better protection. Windows - Meguiars window cleaner. Tyres - Meguiars hot tyre shine. Headlights & tail lights - Meguiars Plastix cleaner (works a treat). Yes I keep Meguiars in business. Oh and thanks to my husband who lent a hand with the elbow grease. Brendan - Mummy's little man! He is just too adorable he could get away with anything. Jon - we are stage 3 now, not allowed to wash cars at home, only windscreens and headlights. Stage 4 in May, only car washes with recycled water. It sucks so much. We live about 500m from out BP car wash, close enough to wash, rush home and chamios before it dries!! What good taste we have in names My Madeleine is 3yrs 4mths and Logan is 18mths. I love my kids to bits. Cheers

Mummy's car is the R34 family sedan (and last time I checked I was the mummy ), daddy's is the R33 2 door. If you ask Maddie "daddy's car is too loud and fast, I like going in Mummy's car it's not loud" lol Yes you have discribed Logan quite acurately, he is such a cheeky boy, he waits until you have your back turned and then draws pretty patterns on your car with chalk lucky it came off easily. Thanks for the comments on the R34 too.

Here are some pic's of my R34 sedan after hours of washing, polishing and waxing this weekend. It was all clean and sparkly so I had to grab the camera and take some pic's. Just wanted to share. And hubby's R33 no FMIC yet I just like these shots Cool reflection Sparkles! My daughter Madeleine is just happy that she can see herself! My son Logan does not understand that little hand prints do not look cool on the shiney duco!

I misquoted myself, it was actually 12A-T (TUF12A) not 13B-T, sorry.

We use about 400 ltrs per day in our household. 1 million ltrs would last 2500 days or 6.8 years of water usage!!!!!!!! That is ridiculous, we dont even water the garden unless I am bucketing the water out of the kids bath!!

Brother inlaw ran 10.21 @137mph RX7 S3 13BT untubbed street driven. Previous to our skylines we had RX2 12A bridge and it was the most fun I have ever had driving that thing, hubby used to complain I had no mechanical sympathy, but it kept going and going.

This is another example of a BBQ trailer FYI.

Hi SK I have an R34 series 2 (2001) sedan and I would like to lower the standard ride height but I cant afford your whole suspension kit (I would like to spend less than $500 if possible). The car is only used as a family car on weekends and not for any perfomance sport. Please may you recommend what I could buy from your kit to lower the 34. I was thinking I may get away with just springs, one of those subframe alignment things that you swear by, camber kit? What height would you recommend 350mm or 330mm. I have standard 17" R34 GTT rims, if I went 350mm would I get away without camber kit? Would my standard shocks be ok for the moment? I have a front strut brace, unsure of rear one. Sorry for asking so many questions I know you are extemely busy!!! I appreciate your advice. Thanks Issy

It should be compulsory for P platers to participate in defensive driving courses, it is inexperience and disrespect for your own driving that contributes to accidents. I thought I was invincible and drove stupidly when I was on my P's over 10 years ago, I now have respect for other drivers, myself and especially my car (and kids in the car). I put that down to learning by experience and growing up. I really love going for a drive just for the hell of it, but I am so cautious of other drivers on the road and I am always prepared and expecting them to do the wrong thing. Also would be good for p platers to attend a fatal car accident just for a reality check on how tragic it is for the the people attending the scene and families of those killed or seriously injured. I am sure this is something you will not forget and will think about when driving stupidly. Slow down and respect the road and road users!!!!!!!!

Import 4 Door Cruise In Melbourne
Meek34 replied to Starionturbo's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Maybe interest too, waiting for dates and destination. -
Try AAA, Australian Automotive Air on 453 Dorset Rd Croydon South PH 9720 8011 if that is not too far away, they may have available work for night shift? You will probably have to put an application in. Good luck

and no1 could see... Well isn't everyone going to see it on youtube?? Reckless driving or dickless driving?

I agree with most of the other guys (that probably don't have one either) don't install one at all. I don't have one and wouldn't opt to install one. Anyway I was under the impression it was an illegal option anyway, to lock and leave your car while it is still running? But I may be wrong!
