Yes the lip looks tough. I still want those eyelids though! I have a series 2 and the standard front bar is nothing like that. Is that the standard front bar of a Series 1, n15sm0 the extra lip on the bottom looks good too. I also noticed the side skirts on your sedan, where did you get those??

Sincere condolences go to Porters family, especially his wife and 1 year old son. I also have a 1 year old son and could not imagine him growing up without his father. Thoughts also go to the Clarke family for this horrible tragedy.

Maybe I should change it to Izz?

As quoted by mad082 as well "the intake mod laws limit you to 1 mod, but that isn't in all states." I am not sure on other states but I think in Vic you are only have one intake modification, either FMIC or a pod filter. Each is a separate modification = 2 modifications!! But an upgrade to a decent panel filter is not classed as a modification as they fit straight into the original airbox, therefore you can have a FMIC as well. You should probably check the state rules as to what you are allowed, rather than find out the hard and expensive way. This is my understanding anyway, please correct me if I am wrong.

lol guys, I get upset when I my husband gets attention driving my R34 GTT sedan, I feel like yelling out the window "Noooo its my car not his!!!" although I still love driving his R33 GTST cause it is a manual and sounds better. Then I'd claim that as our car.

Hey lanky71 I am also in the same boat as you. Although the only mod on my R34 sedan (also auto) was the 3" Apexi cat back exhaust. First I changed the panel air filter for a K&N because this is the easiest to do I guess. Next will be the split front/dump pipe from turbo and high flow cat. Then a FMIC will probably be on the cards. Just remember you can only do either a FMIC or a pod filter, not both, but you can have a panel filter and FMIC. Also the suspension upgrade will be somewhere in there as well. Why is it there is an endless list of things to do?? I must go and water my money tree and stick it out in the sun!! GTRgeoff I will be looking out for your tutorial on modifiying the airbox too when you have posted it!!

I would love that set up!! Perfect. I dont want to go lower that 100mm though cause I want to stay legal, dont need the hassles. Do you compromise on comfort being so low?? The 19" look ace, I want ROH Vapors in 19"!!

Contemplating. Hubby will take his R33 GTST as well if we go.

Looks great, yes it is an improvement. Your R34 looks . Looks quite low, what is your ride height? What suspension/springs/shocks do you have? Are they 19" or 20" rims and what offset? I have Apexi 3" cat back and it is quite as, maybe a little too quite. I brought the car like that so dont have any comparison. I am wanting to add a dump pipe from turbo to cat, any suggestions? It is an R34 GTT sedan.

Yes please!! Could I please order an ECR33 Power FC + Commander for R33 GTST. Please send me payment details so I can send payment asap. Many thanks.

Just Jap (SAU sponsor I think) have FMIC kits including piping for $550. Excellent quality product, can recommend.

I wouldn't just limit yourself to look for a car in Vic. I have just purchased my R34 GTT 4dr from QLD and it is getting transported to Vic. I can highly recommend contacting forum member jake32 if you are looking for an R34, if you PM him, he may be able to help you. As well as having high quality vehicles, he was extremely helpful and very trustworthy. To purchase the vehicle without seeing the car myself I relied on his word and State Roads to perform a complete a comprehesive inspection, including compression test on the engine (I would highly recommend State Roads, way better than RACV). I have had a very positive experience on purchasing my R34, so hope this info gives you some idea. Good luck with the car hunt and do lots of research.

Advice On Lowering R34 Gtt S2 4dr
Meek34 replied to Meek34's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Thanks SS8 Gohan I will PM SydneyKid, I have read alot of positive feedback about his products and work. I would like to do it properly the first time, and not just a quick fix job (the angle grinder is not my friend) as my R34 is an excellent example and I will be keeping it for years to come. -

That ride height is ok, heaps better than mine. Is that the lowest you can go with King springs? Did you just fit the King springs and leave the shocks as standard, or did you change the shocks as well. I dont know what condition the original ones are in yet. I have looked at SydneyKid's R34 set up, but unsure of the exact parts I would require? Maybe I should get a quote? -

Thanks for all the advice, I would say springs and shocks are the least expensive way to go. Any recommendations on brands apart from Kings or Whiteline? And where is the best place in East Melb to find some? -

Yes you have to be quick to get the good second hand parts! I will try and keep my eye out. Ok it has one modified part - a 3" apexi cat back exhaust, so looking at getting a dump pipe and high flow cat after it is a decent ride height!! -
4dr or coupe? I think I have seen a very neat 4dr gun metal grey R33 in Croydon too. Live in Kilsyth area and work in Ringwood North so travel through Croydon everyday too! See alot of white R33's around! I did see a silver R34 coupe in Ringwood the last week too! Nearly gave myself wiplash trying to look!
