  1. Hi guys New to SAU & skylines. I would be greatful if someone has any advice or recommendations on lowering my stock R34 GTT S2 4dr. I will have my new R34 within a week (being transported from QLD) and the first thing I would like to do (after getting it registered) is lower it so it does not look like big foot! I know after market coilovers (bilsteins or equivalet) would be the best solution, but I cant afford the $1400+ price tag. My question is: Does the S2 R34 have standard coilovers and can they be adjusted at all? Or I have read somewhere on SAU that King Springs are a cheaper alternative to lowering than coilovers? What else would be an option? I only intend to use the R34 as a street car so fully adjustable suspension is not a priority at this stage. Any help would be much appreciated. See what I mean
  2. Yes I can agree with jake32. I have now had two cars inspected by State Roads (Vic & Qld) and I can definitly recommend these guys. Very comprehensive test, I actually relied on this test to purchase my R34 as I could not view the car myself. Thanks jake32!!
  3. Unique looking R33 you had. I cant recall having seen it though. Yes the front bar on the S2 is a bit different hey. Not the best for fitting a front mount intercooler, bit restrictive. Maybe after I get a few other bits and peices done first (lowered, intercooler, air filter etc) then I can look at getting another front bar. Your in the market for a new body kit for your GTX too arent you. Keep me informed so I can see what it looks like!! The standard boot spoiler is sleek and neat, I agree! I cant wait till I get it! Will be out and about crusing when I do, if I can afford the petrol??
  4. GTX-R34 no not my S1 white coupe. If your refering to the R33 on Mt Dandy road near primary school I have also seen this one here a few times. We do live just up the road in the estate from that one though. Hubby has got Silver R33 GTST S2 coupe. I am waiting for a Silver R34 GTT S2 4 door, and no doubt when I have the R34 in my drive way it will be out and about quite a bit. I cant recall seeing a R34 4 door around here, I will look out for you, nice GTX too by the way, you will have to post pics when you get your kit so I can see what it looks like!
  5. Allblitz that is one very neat looking R34! Mmmmmm
  6. What about "My Mum's car can beat my Dad's car" I would order 2 of those!!!! and save them for when I actually get an R34.

  10. I just want one (R34 4dr) cause they do have the best tail lights! Hubby's got an R33 coupe and now I want an R34 sedan as a daily, he prefers the R33 tail lights but I am for the R34, there is just something about the R34 that gets me. mmmmm delicious! Know anyone with an R34 GT-T sedan for sale?
  11. Sounds like a perfect buy! If only it had 4 doors I would be interested. I have two kids to fit in the back! Mind you they fit in hubby's R33 GTST but as a more regularly driven car I want a 4 door R34. I see the sale with the young guy that was impressed by the "200kw" fell through. Good luck with the sale! :sorcerer:
  12. Hi Zero I have sent you a PM with a few Q's about the R34.
