Hey guys, Just thought i might make a point of observation. Alot of u are posting in on various topics what immobiliser/alarm u have, pics of ur car, rough parking locations, what "anti-theft" measures u are taking...basically thats telling any amatuer thief what to do, what to look out for and where ur car is located. Recently i had an alarm/immobiliser installed and decided to investigate how easy it is to steal a skyline in light of recent events and all i can say is that an alarm/immobiliser is only going to slow down a SINGLE thief by 20 mins...and thats assuming they r going to drive the car away...of course they can always tow a car with immobiliser/alarm, so basically, if they want ur car..there gonna get it. I had one of my friends have there car seconds from stolen (einstein) and that scared the sh*t out of me. Its a sad world these days owning a skyline.

If I stated u didnt know what u were talking about I do aplogise...sometimes u get kids talking shit up as if they know everything and everybody else knows nothing...when did u come in...I cant remember washing any other skylines, apart from the usuals - Andrew

Hey pear, that paint on ur car was beautiful...and ni5mo, i'll mention the first coffee free thing, see how it goes. Oh and anybody that is wanting to come back as regulars, make sure u get the "frequent user" card as it entitles you to free coffee's and a wash i think...nice meeting everybody and unfortunately I wont be able to make it tomorrow as due to the fact that we were so overwhelmingly busy today...i now have to work tomorrow...sorry guys

I would have to agree. The m80 is a good reliable immobiliser/alarm. go to autobarn at Slacks Ck. Not only do they know there shit, they also know skylines. i talked to one of the install dudes and he was able to say what i needed, what i didnt need, etc. Would recommend both the m80 for both insurance and piece of mind and Autobarn at Slacks Ck

I would opt to go either gtr engine or simply upgrade single turbo, fuel, injectors and intercooler. i was gonna tt the rb25det and every performance store i went to basically told me to piss off and not waist there time

OK. Operating hours are 7:30 to 5:00 mon-sat ....although if u want the works done it is best to bring ur car in before 4:30. And on Sun, operating hours are 8:30 - 4:00. If we're not busy a polish and wash can take UP TO 2 hrs, but can normally be done in approx an hour.

Sry for the DBL post...The name of the place is One Stop Hand Car Wash Cafe....Ph No is 38493899. Best days to bring ur car in if possible is Mon, Tue or Wed as these r our slowest days.

Hey guys, just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Andrew and I have been the one who has booked in Mushroom, LBR33 and Rhinorebel. I have been talking to the owners about some form of discount, etc for SAU members as the feedback has been great. Thanx guys. The products we use r the best, the glass cleaner itself is the best I have ever used (removes smoke film perfect). At the moment u wont need to book in for a polish or engine clean. ENGINE CLEAN = $30 extra and POLISH = from $80 extra. The polish is a liquid polymer that gives a deep clear gloss finish and protects paint from fade. No buffing is ever done unless asked. It was nice putting faces to names aswell. Hell I even met the treasurer for the first time. I will definately be at the Charity cruise. And generally I will be the one looking after the skylines.

Ur headlights are hooked up through the hazard relay, located behind the hazard light switch...Pull ur dash off, unclip the loom connected to the relay and unscrew relay from dash panel. Replace hazard relay and problem should be fixed if it is fault with relay, otherwise indicator wiring may be shorted...hope this helps

Car Misfiring And Backfiring When Coming Onto Boost?
schultzr33 replied to R31HOOCH's topic in General Maintenance
I am having the same problem...what u need is a fuel cut defender. r u running non-factory boost? if so, the ecu cuts fuel as the boost is raised to prevent damage. if u get a turbosmart fuel cut defenfer ($120~) and fit it, it tricks the ecu and ur car will run fine. When my car was doing it, i spent like $200 just on the iridium sparkplugs, thinking it was them, but its just ecu. Alternatively, u could replace/ tune ur ecu...hope this helps -

Pods give an iduction note better than airbox?
schultzr33 replied to RB_26's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thats because flutter is caused by the air going back into the turbo fins from the bov. Hence y u dont get flutter on atmo bovs either -
High Boost Mod On Standard Solenoid - How Not To
schultzr33 replied to Munkyb0y's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hope all turns out well. I used a bleed valve with the standard dual stage solenoid in my R33, works well if u wanna go a simple cheap dual boost setup... PS... ur car would look hotter with clear indicators -
