I'm coming, just have to get a few things sorted so the car can drive again without issues. Oil change, new front bar, put new seats in. It's almost done!

plenum is sold now too! just ignition coils left. will be selling R33 GTST seats, front and rear...stay tuned for pics!

Well yes actually. I think it's going to open up a whole new world of activities for me Plus I will own a track car, I don't want a fuel guzzling boat. If I didn't own the skyline then maybe the stagia would appeal, but honestly I'm over driving the line on the streets. Very excited about building a real track car!

hmmm good to know, given that im only doing such a small amount of towing, im still leaning to the x-trail. it just looks to be way more fun to drive than the stag.

my tow car is only going to tow once a month max, more like once every 3 months...

ok so you really think the stagea is an option? i do like them and i would know how to service it since it shares lots of parts with the R33. so far from what i understand the stagea would have enough balls (if not more than the x-trail) to tow.

hmmm this is all really bugging me. so my max budget is $15k. i was looking at a petrol x-trail...similar to this one: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT i could look at a teritory or something like that. i dont want a 'big' car if thats posible, i certainly dont want a ute or anything that resembles some kind of trades person, and i hate falcons or anything that looks like one i do appreciate all your assitance on this guys!

i hear you warps, but the x-trail has a towing capacity of 2000kg. this is a manufacturer rating. i plan on stripping the R33 as much as posible and the trailers i have been looking at are all around 500kg and are double axel electronically braked... from all the reports i see, the x-trail seems ot be more than up to the task. i plan on only towing say once a month down to marulan or somewhere like that. if the track car thing really takes off for me and i strat heading to other interstate tracks, well then yes i'll probably look at a patrol or something like that, but my car needs to primarily get me around town everyday to work etc...

Hi guys, i am looking for a tow car now that my skyline is becomming a track car. this is a long story anyhow, im looking a forester 2001 GT at this point or a Stagea RS4. what do you guys recon? my biggest concern right now is that both cars dont seem to be able to tow enough. from what i understand i need to be able to tow about 1700-1800kg (Car + Trailor). Any advice welcome My car is an R33 GTST 1995.
