  5. hey guys, i'd love to come to one of these days... what the go with licencing. i am a member of sau... will someone be there to say 'yes he is a meber of sau and he can get a cams licence' or should i get a cams licence in the next few days?
  6. hey dude, i will have a series 1 turbo very soon, maybe as soon as next week... not 100% sure of the condition but i know it works and creates lots of boost... there is a little bit of shaft play... but nothing major. let me know if you are intertested and you can come and have a look once its off my car...
  7. ok, so have ajust jap kit and i havent installed it yet. since with this device installed, there is extra oil cooling capacity...should we be disconnectiong the old oil cooler from the water cooling system??? take this quote from the trust greddy oil cooler product: Factory oil coolers are normally small water-cooled devices sandwiched between the oil filter and engine block. These tax the cooling system even under normal driving conditions. GReddy / GREX oil coolers are an excellent addition, and are especially effective in harsh driving environments. By using a similar inner-fin core design as our famous intercoolers, we are able to increase oil capacity, decrease oil temperatures, and extend engine and oil life. so based on the fact that we have extra cooling capacity now from the oil cooler, should we be bypassing the water factory oil cooler so as to enhance/help the water cooling of the engine???
  8. anytime...helping people is a wonderful thing!
  9. yeah overall it took just under 1 month, but that was also due to nengun just moving shop as well plus i think HKS had some stock issues. i was a bit worried at some points but i have done 3 orders with nengun now and im quite happy. best of all i had no issues with customs which was lucky. but that doesnt mean you will get through easy too, so just keep that in mind. i bought 555cc nismo injectors and the gtrs kit and all up i paid around $3200 (including freight and paypal fees)... best i've seen the HKS gtrs kit from in australia is through rms motorsports for $2850 (same freight time as nengun) and then $875 for the injectors. turbo kit from justjap is $3800!!! patience is a virtue in then end...

  21. Hey guys, im looking for the plug on the end of the loom that plugs onto the vtc solenoid?!?!? does anyone have one off an old loom they can spare?
  22. so what exactly does this thing do?
  23. sidd, how do you know you need a special sandwich plate. you can get a greddy one for $150 i know. but japan use metric like us so i dont see how it would be any different. weevil, if you have an oil cooler kit with a filterrelocator then one of your devices where the hoses attache will have sensor holes in there. i know this is the case with the greddy/trust ones and also the just jap ones...i just bought a jjr one!
