  2. I just put a set of these in my R33 and they are so good. Dont waste your time with cheap crap...it not worth it. Such a nice ride and when on softest setting, they are great for sydney roads! So very very happy!
  3. see i aggree with what you say there...thats why i am wondering why peoples idle is at around 800 when it should be 650 according to the service manual... i am thinking 650 is too low. if your idel is at 800 with AC off, what is it with AC on?
  4. the service manual says it should be 650rpm with AC off and 800rpm with AC on... what is yours set at and what do you think is the best idle speeds?

  17. Hi everyone, i have the strange idle problem thats bothering me. i have now put my idle at 800rpm AC off and 900 rpm AC on. i have poer fc and have adjusted the aac/idle valve. i also have a gfb stealth fx bov. with the idle up where it is and nothe factory 650rpm reccomendation, she behaves quite nicely. i was having a problem where when you would take your foot off the accelerator when comming to a stop and the rpm falls from say 3-4000, it would drop below 500 rpm then climb back up to 650. this however would someties cause the car to almost stall. so with idle up higher and a check of the aac vavle (including a clean) it seems to behave. however today i had the same thying happen again... its annoying cause i am sure this should not be happening... changing from full atmos to PB on the bov does not seem to make a difference, plus i have tuned the bov as per the gfb intructions and it does not seen to cause any idle issues. so deos anyone have any ideas???
  18. Hi guys, hows it going? i used to own an FTO before my beloved R33 GTST. to make life easier to find parts and all, i found this awesome programe from Mitsubishi that gave you all the part numbers and showed you where things went and how the were fitted. is there the same software available on the net for our skylines? i assume there would be as its just the nissan service/parts software...???
  19. that my friends is the motor that directs the air flow for the aircon/heater system. its a little servo and over time the gears wear down and they start to slip. when i bought my r33 it was making the same noise and the dealer i bought it off fixed it before i picked it up. massive job, whole dash and aircon system needs to come out as its right down near the firewall on the inside of the car. good luck with that one...
  20. hey dude, can you repost the pics?
  21. hmmmmm i might be intertested.. how 'firm' are you on the price? BTW in im sydney so i could pick up...nice easy sale...but i dont reeaaallly need them. but would be nice for future upgrades...
