yeah its rare i hit 13psi boost. im not really a super racer but i love to drive hard occasioally. just been for a trip to noosa on the sunshine coast. at first i was very unhappy with the fuel economy but it seems to be getting better. at first with highway driving i was still only getting 350kms per tank...after 2 tanks it seems the power fc is taking more notice of the O2 sensor and i now get 500kms per tank. with highway driving i would still like to see this around 600ks highway and in the city i want at least 400kms to a tank... i guess we'll wait and see. the next purchase for my car will either be a set of tein coilovers or a new turbo! any suggestions, nothing to expensive.

Hi guys, just thought i would post up one of the most helpful tips when installing a Just Jap or Hybrid or similar FMIC. One ommision from these kits is the nipple for the boost controller which is actually just amazing. anyway... Some poeple believe you can take a feed off something else such as the blow off valve or something after the throttle body. this is not correct. GFB state this in bold in their Atomic boost controller install instructions and i have scoured other boost controller instructions and they all take a pressure feed from before the throttle body. so to have this available i have used the pipe work that you would normally take out for this intercooler upgrade. there are two stock pipes that run down throught the metal work of the car to the stock intercooler location. one you would norammly keep which runs from the turbo to the intercooler. the other is normally upgraded with the chrome piping comming from the other side of the engine bay. if you chop this discarded pipe about 2 thrids of the way down, you can use it to replace the stock pipe that is still in place. you will then have a nipple available to feed your boost controller. i will post picks of what i have done, but i am much happier i have finnally got the pressure feed correct. peace out people... any questions just ask...

Ok, so i have my baby back from Tunehouse in Marrickville. My car went from 140.9rwkw, now i have 204.5rwkw. My torque figures went from 1027.2Nm @ 5196rpm to 1518.3Nm at 4473rpm. very happy with the results. i also replaced the oxygen sensor, now i just have to hope the fuel economies are better... My mods are: 3.5" turboback stainless Xforce exhaust Apexi Pod Air Intake GFB Stealth FX BOV GFB Atomic Boost Controller (running 13psi) Front Mount Intercooler Apexi Power FC

well i dropped my r33 gtst into tunehouse today at marrickville. i havent heard of many guys taking their cars there but they seem to be really good. their website explains a lot about them and the their workshop looks fantastic. i guess we'll wait and see. they sold the power fc to me for $1550 and the tune is $800. the tune does not start from any base mappings but they told me they start from scratch. i'll tell you all about it when done... hopefully will have her back tomorrow.

HI guys, i dont mean to be useless but i have seached hi and low and cant seem to find a DIY thread on oil and filter change for R33...can anyone poin tme in the right direction??? i mean i know its not hard and after goin gto the ryco site i have found the right oil filter... what oil do you guys use? Should there be a DIY for this?

ahh so its EGT yes? i could use that as a sender for an EGT gauge? was i correct about the oxygen sensor location?

Hi, just wanted to clarify... I have two sensors in my exhaust system, one is the oxygen sensor right up on the dump pipe next to the turbo, yes? then there is one in the catalytic convertor...what is that one?

if you want a hand installing i am sure we could come to some arrangement...

i just bough two of these style gauges with a greddy r33 2 pod a-pillar mount. all in all a top setup. my 2 mates bought the $175 deals and we will install them tomorrow...

well all in all replacing the exhaust system was a peice of piss. thank you to the guys that helped and showed me a few links. really appreciate it. my r33 sounds awesome and has much better performance. very happy with my xforce system from justjap.

bro, you need to replace the stepper motor in the aircon assembly...might be costly not really sure. my r33 made that noise before i bought it and said 'fix it!' asnd that what he said he replaced...

Hi Guys, how are we all this evening? i want to get an x-force exhaust system for my R33 gtst from Just Jap. has anyone bought one of these 3.5" tuboback systems - around $750 i think. anyway, i want to fit it myself. i dont see this being very hard...done plenty of modifications on my FTO before... anyway if anyone has some tips for doing this or comments on the system i might buy tomorrow let me know please... also any suggestions for smash repairers around the airport, a taxi side swiped me on monday night!!! all covered by insurance but 'just car' need two quotes...

Hi Guys, i have a lovely stock R33 gtst series 1.5. first skyline ever (i'll make this a little intro as well) and comming from an FTO i am very happy with this car! first thing i have noticed is that my stock boost gauge doesnt seem to ever go above 3.5 regardless of how hard i push my baby?!?! is this just how it is or could my boost levels have been dropped down for some reason? also i am getting 350kms per tank...is this normal? thanks for your help guys...
