Many thanks and congratulations to all who participated in today’s Dyno Day. You all contributed to the day being a huge success with there being a great feeling of friendly competition. I also want to pay special thanks to Ray and R E Customs for making the day run so smoothly. Fantastic venue. Fantastic BBQ. Several people have already suggested that R E Customs become the venue for an annual multi car breed Dyno Shootout. Remember, make sure that you support companies who support you. Ray can be contacted by calling 95483414 or on the net at www.recustoms.com.au The following is a detailed list of all results. Well done to Scott, Jon, Frank and Tim for their wins in each of the 4 categories. Your prize of a minor service can be redeemed by calling Ray and booking your car in. Hi All Couple of things to remember for the Dyno Day. - Please ensure that your tyres are in good condition. If there is a nail, etc in one of your tyres, the car won't be allowed on the Dyno - 40psi tyre pressure will produce the best result - All cars will be reversed onto the Dyno - No smoking in the work shop There is a pool table for all to enjoy. PLEASE SHARE There has also been some slight start time changes due to the fact that a few FWD cars have withdrawn and been replaced by RWD. The NEW times are: FWD 9.00 am - 11.30 pm RWD 11.30 pm - 4.30 pm AWD 4.30 pm - 6.00 pm The current list of runners is as follows: ek-turbo (Thao) Honda EK Civic 1.6ltr Natural Kman (Dave) Nissan N13 Pulsar 1.8ltr Natural Gary Nissan N13 Pulsar 1.8ltr Natural Ken Honda Integra Type R 1.8ltr Natural N T Honda Integra Type R 1.8ltr Natural Kevin Honda Integra Type R 1.8ltr Natural Steve Nissan N15 Pulsar SSS 2ltr Turbo Lee Nissan N14 Pulsar SSS 2ltr Turbo David Nissan N14 Pulsar SSS 2ltr Natural ssstylin (Richard) Nissan 94 Pulsar SSS 2ltr Natural Dean Mazda RX7 ? The final plans have been agreed upon for the Dyno Day. The following will outline how the day will be run. Cars will run in order of driveline. FWD – RWD and then AWD. A range of time has been set aside for each driveline: FWD 9.00am - 12.30pm RWD 12.30pm - 4.00pm AWD 4.00pm - 6.00pm When you arrive and pay, you will be given the order that you are going to be put on the Dyno. It would help the day run smoothly if you could arrive and register before the start time of your cars driveline. If you arrive late, I can’t guarantee that you won’t have a long wait. A FREE BBQ will be offered between 12.00pm - 2.00pm for all, including spectators. Drinks can be purchased from the vending machine. The winners of the following 4 categories will receive a voucher for a FREE minor service at the R E Customs workshop. Please note that the Dyno is a state-of-the-art 4WD chassis Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer.

We now have a couple of Evo's coming who are claiming they can produce good numbers. Looks like it's going to be a sad day for Nissan.

Hi All To help make the day run smoothly and hassle free, please ensure that you send your details to [email protected] I can't guarantee you a start if you're not registered. There will be cars from a number of web sites running on the day and nearly all will be Nissan. All (roadworthy) cars welcome, naturally aspirated and forced induction. I need a couple of 'beasts' to come along. My mates running his Typhoon and he'll never stop talking about it if he ends up with the best run. There's also an R32 GTR and an SS Commodore that thinks he's got what it takes. Plus, I want to see the surprise on your face when you see my Bluebird produce 130kw at all 4 wheels. That alone will make it worth turning up for. This is also a great chance to introduce yourself and get to know Ray, the owner of a very professionally run workshop. Any day of the week, think of a fast Jap car and you could find it in this workshop. Ray will take the time to discuss what's possible for your car and budget and won't try and sell you on what's going to make him easy money. I'll post a full list of who/what is running closer to the day. Thanks Brad

www.antrx.com are organsing a Dyno Day at RE Customs (www.recustoms.com.au) Springvale on Sept 9. If you're interested, please e-mail the details of what you will be running on the day (Model, engine, FWD/RWD/AWD) to [email protected] Please only confirm if you know that you can make it. The total number of cars is limited, so first in best dressed. The price is $40 per car and for that you get "3 power runs (shoot out mode), print out with boost level, power, and Afr." RE Customs have generously offered to put on a BBQ and provide prizes - "such as free service, oil, merchandise" if we can get a good number of participants. I will let you know details closer to the day. Please note that time restrictions will not permit any tuning while on the Dyno. Bookings for this specialised work will need to organised with Ray for a more suitable time. Don't forget to e-mail me at [email protected] with your details. Brad
