    Still not feeling it. But I do respect the fact that you can't be eff'd about what others think and mod your car the way you like it. Look forward to seeing your car in person if your coming for the cruise. if you dont mind my personal opinion....u need to work on the lights coz the yellow headlights dont match the rest of the other bulbs and you could use a lowering an inch or 2.

    holy s**t ...hope they didn't mess up ur ecu. Maybe the extractors are screwing with the o2 readings and causing the car to retard timing

    Anyone know where I can get a pair of engine mounts for a coupe...either in Australia or on-line? Nissan dealerships here in Perth and really expensive, so am interested to know if there are cheaper options

    stay away from tyreshops that dont have a clue. Any decent shop should be able to tell by the stock wheels and make a pretty good guess on how much bigger u can go. personally i think 19" suit this car the best...but whether this is legal is somewhat a grey area. 9.5 front and 10.5 rears in around the +15 offset should fill the guards nicely with sedans i have nfc

    not really after the nismo front, but if you can source the JP Vizage front lip + shipping...then I'll be keen. Currently have a quote for $320 + 200 shipping but not really looking at paying that kind of money just for a front lip.

    Millos, go to Mutiara Motors in KL and see if you can convince them for a test drive. Even if you don't end up getting to drive one of their cars, I've always enjoyed just browsing the shop floor dreaming about which to get with my lotto winnings.

    I've put grounding kits on a civic type r and an evo before....didn't feel any difference at all in the cars performance. Didnt want to spend that money again on the V35 to be dissappointed...but if what u say is correct, then its definately a worthwhile mod.

    $1200 through just cars (had a quote for $700 from fastr, but was wary bout dealing with online insurance companies I've never heard of). Thats with no claims history, no disqualifications, mature (i try not to use the word old)

    LOL.... most of us hardly see 1 track day a year so screw the physics. I say just get the biggest legal wheels and build your engine with as much powah as your wallet can handle. my personal opinion, try not to decat and waste unburnt fuel out the exhaust. If you must, then get a flame thrower and at least have something to show for it

    there are other factors that come to play other than unsprung weight. trick is to find bigger wheels where the bulk of the weight is towards the center of the hub if you look at the formula for moment of inertia, both mass and perpendicular distance to the axis of rotation plays a vital role.

    get it on a diagnostic and have it read for codes. car not revving up can be a variety of factors...dodgy wiring, faulty CPS, and in some cases the TPS, Air flow sensor or 02 sensor can also cause the car to run in limp mode. I dont think the VDC/slip light has anything to do with the g/box coz the sensors are at the wheels i think.

    doesn't hurt to call the guy and see if he can meet u half way. I'm sure that if ur keen to buy it, most sellers will oblige to bring the car to you for a test drive

    agreed. and in most cases removing the cat will slightly increase hp....but the reduction in backpressure will reduce low end torque in day to day traffic, i reckon having more torque makes the car more fun to drive.

    I've read about gains of about 20hp from a combination of CAI, plenum spacer, decat + exhaust, lightnened pulleys .....so 9kw from just a decat is really impressive. the gains vs expense element on modifying a NA car has always been somewhat a turnoff. Biggest gains u can get for less dollars will always be to FI the car or use some laughing gas in a bottle. Nitrous oxide is illegal to use...but then again so is decat'n ur exhaust.

    ok this may sound stupid...but if you have the battery out and the car locked....when u next open the door with the key ...with no battery the window doesn't drop...will that potentially wreck the window or the a-pillar?
