  1. Are you sure?? I can see that they use the same 11 blade turbine wheel BUT the housings CAN be different.. e.g 8cm 10cm 12cm.. I still believe the T67-25G is bigger than a TD06-25G especially if its a 8cm.. if i'm wrong let me know what 2 turbo's you are comparing cause it is a little confusing with all the different TD06 you can get
  2. Excellent Topic Sarge, i will be aiming for 350rwkw on E85 as well. So far i have read and been told different things, like 1000cc injectors wont be enough and that i will need TWO 044 fuel pumps.. where i have read that 1000cc is enough and a nismo or one 044 will be enough for 350KW on E85. I am looking at a Wolf V500 ECU to go MAP but not sure if i supports a ethanol content sensor.. will be watching to see what is suggested for your setup

Back from the Dead.. what in tank pump would be best to use on a R33 300-400rwkw running E85 Aeromotive 340 Stealth inline and deatschwerks pump look the goods but would they keep up for a car on E85 say 350Kw and boost max of 25Psi? They look like they can for 98 but will the flow be enough for E85? (currently have a Walbro 255 HP? which i don't think will cut it.. could i be wrong?)
  5. you need to block your PVC pipe otherwise at idle or any time your not boosting it the engine will breath through the PVC and then through the catch can and through that hose hidden and that Air is un metered do a search about PVC and correct catch can setup but once you block the PVC you will be fine.

  9. What turbo and gate did you get? and what Manifold you putting it onto? I'm still looking at a T67 25G for 300rwkw on 98 or go E85 for more power (we all want more so don't want to do it twice). SimonR32 have you had any issues running the stock engine at 350rwkw? Value float? ect???

So are you saying in idle mode even though the PFC hand controller is saying 10 it could be varied 10-20?? or what it shows on the hand controller should be at the crank? e.g 10 should be 10 at crank.. I did notice that 2X4 should have been 20 degrees but was showing 15 so I'm positive it was in idle mode. I might try a new timing light and even put on my old broke CAS (one of the mounts snapped) just to see if i anything changes if it all stays the same then it could be ECU or wiring?
  11. Got some time over the weekend and confirmed that the balancer 0deg mark lines up with both inlet and exhaust cam timing marks... So its either the timing light is doing something weird, CAS is stuff (but second CAS tested) or AFM... When i opened FC-Edit the car is idling in 2X4 cell and not 2X2 cell... (RPMxLOAD) could this cause any differences?

Why fkn bother when a 200000km 15+year old RB25DET unopen engine can make over 300rwkw and last.. do what everyone else has said and buy a second hand engine replace the timing belt and water pump (100K service) and drop it in. you will have no problems making 240kw for years and most likely blow the turbo before the engine oh not to mention save alot of MONEY! If you MUST rebuild so you know its like new i would recommend ERD (Elite Racing Developments)
  13. Do it!!! i am, my car will be off the road for a good year to save the cash to do a turbo upgrade. going to do it on the cheap side and hope things last and upgrade them as needed. List so far is: Ebay special high mount exhaust manifold. Most likely T67 -25G turbo 44mm TIAL gate or turbosmart 38mm ultra gate freddy inlet manifold ?? Maybe needed for highmount turbo deatschwerks 1000cc injectors E85 fuel as insurance on the stock engine. everything else i have to run it but might sell the PFC and Z32AFM and buy a ECU with a MAP sensor

  17. Hmmm that's something i don't think i checked. The crank was done but i don't think i checked the Balancer afterwards to the Exhaust cam and just assumed it would be correct as it is keyed on... will pull off the top timing belt cover and check Yes both CAM and CAS have alignment tooth still.. is it possible for the CAS to still be put on incorrectly with both Keys?... I also just bought a FC Datalogit as i was hoping the base timing was set elsewhere but i guess not

Hmm well i can not adjust the CAS to show 15degree most i can get is 10degree.. and im 100% sure i got the timing belt right (pulled it down 4 times and even counted the teeth) When CAS is set to 10degree i get major knock 250... thinking my tuner may have tuned around my base timing. But im still stumped why i can not get my base timing correct, 2nd CAS show the same problems.
  19. god some of you guys complain about some stupid shit. This turbo requires a ex WG so stop complaining that the cops will see it and rape your ass... If you don't like it sell your car and buy a excel or dont Modify your car. So far im thinking i will go a T67-25G similar to SimonR32 setup and run eflex.
  20. Aren't you running a RB20?? Maybe this is why you can not make 300rwkw where as the RB25 with VCT can make 300rwkw?
  21. Was talking about turbo upgrade and not the other stuff. Hypergear turbo's can get 300kw for $1550 but that's internal gate on standard manifold and you still need to make a intake. GT3076 again is either internal and might not make the power for more money.
  22. DVS JEZ how is the ebay manifold holding up? and what turbo is it running? Im keen to get one of these turbo's but don't want to spend the money on a 6Boost manifold for a budget turbo... $250 mani +750 turbo + 400 gate + 600 for intake and dump ect = $2K for 300kw, seems awesome to me.
  23. +1 to this. don't bother buying ezyouts ect most likely to snap them in the drilled out stud or end up paying double (cost of ezyout set is same a pro to get them out) Also Ezyouts is the worst thing to use on exhaust studs as the stud actually flattens the thread when installed and as you try and remove with a ezyout it actually trys and expands the stud to grip and gets stuck and usually snaps. I know cause i did it on one of them . If your Anywhere from Gold-coast to Sunshine coast lookup ProThreads.
