Modified R33 S2 as seen in HPI
MRK25T replied to MRK25T's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Nope, on high boost it is 270hp. I dont run insane amounts of boost because I was planning on keeping the car for quite some time. The highest boost the car has run is 0.8bar and that was with the high flowed turbo. You know how I drive Ben from the cruises we've been on - I normaly get lost because I cant keep up, or I don't fill up before the start. Meanwhile back at the ranch, I got roped in to do home deliveries tonight so I didnt get the camera. you got a scanner Brendan? -

Thanks Tosh. In two shakes of a dogs hind leg i'll be heading over to the Dominatress that is making me sell the car to take some pics of my latest dyno graphs. -
Done. I saw one of Duncan's posts because he wants to purchase a Stagea too. He had a link to Prestige's site and i signed up again (my uni email account that they had on the mailing list went down the other day) Thanks
-
That hasn't fixed my problem Andrew, its only fixed Pranks.
-
What sort of Stagea are you getting Duncan? I'm possibly looking at buying a Stagea too.
-
Do you know where I can get some info on Stageas and possibly legacys? Everything i've found so far is in Japanese
-
Not far off there Christian. My eyes are on a rb26dett powered Stagea at this stage. Prisana has given me the nod only if the exhaust is quiet.

Mrs is still being kept in a cage somewhere in the dungeon and isn't going anywhere. I'm going for a 4/5 door sedan/wagon.

Thanks rayt. I'm selling it because I’m in the same boat as Prank. I've been with my girlfriend for 5 years now and so I’m committing myself to a long sentence with her. She hates my car because I spend too much time and money on it - she is very perceptive , I love the car... the turbo I’ve got on it now is very nice. I'll be replacing the Skyline with something more family orientated such as a station wagon. I forgot to mention it has after market pedals as well. Momo accelerator, clutch and brake are Razo. low boost = 256.2HP high boost = 270HP -
Get back to work you trouble maker!

I just heard one of the best R33 gtsts cruising around the northern beaches is up for sale in the for sale section of this forum. Can anyone confirm this?
-
For $25k you can purchase my silver series 2 R33 Gtst. Car is in perfect condition as many of my fellow Northern Beaches cruise buddies can tell you (Nick, tosh, ken, carlo, christian, etc. etc.). Since I purchased it as a custom import from Japan in 2002 i've injected $10k into it in 2003. Mods: Ø Front mount intercooler. Ø HKS 2530 ball bearing turbo with braided lines (put on about a month or two ago – began with a standard turbo, got that high flowed, now it has the HKS turbo). Ø Adjustable cam gear Adjustable fuel regulator 600hp fuel pump (bosch or however you spell it). Ø Apexi boost gauge in chrome bezel. Ø Apexi full 3” exhaust from turbo back. Ø Apexi Power FC + controller (including box, manual, etc.) Ø Apexi air filter (metal mesh type) Ø Greddy turbo timer. Ø Greddy Profec B electronic boost controller (black) set at 7 and 10.5psi PowerFC + controller all perfectly tuned by a top tuner just before the first of the driver education courses we are doing. From memory 256rwhp @ 7psi, 270rwhp at 10.5psi - dyno graphs are at work. (includes original box, instructions, etc.) Ø Nismo clear side indicators (including box) Ø Nismo gear knob (alloy one with “NISMO” indented down the side). Ø Nismo rear strut brace. Ø Nismo mats (front and rear) Ø Razo and Momo pedals Ø Replaced timing belt - quite an expensive procedure unfortunately. Ø Climate control has been serviced. Ø Heavy duty clutch - stiffer than standard but is absolutely fine for city driving. Ø Heavy duty battery. Ø Carbon fibre wipers. Ø Carbon fibre bonnet with bonnet pins. Ø Blitz BOV with custom mount. Ø Nolathane castor rod bushes. Ø Alarm (wont say what it is, just in case). Ø R34 GTT rims. Ø Z32AFM - The car had too much power for the standard air flow meter. Ø Tinted windows – legal darkness. Ø Brand new Green Stuff high performance brake pads put in the week before we did the skidpan. They squeak a little bit, apparently they are very good but I haven't had the need to use them - hopefully on track day (23rd Jan 2003). Ø JVC LH2000 CD/Tuner/MP3 headunit (3D dot matrix screen version). Ø Pioneer speakers in the parcel shelf which have never been hooked up. Standard front speakers but have Sony components if the deal needs to be sweetened. Even though the car has had a significant upgrade, it has never had a tough life in Australia. If you know me you'll know what I mean, if you dont - PM some of the guys i've cruised with. For complete details visit my site.

What Cisco hat? It looks like it says "optus". Since im not a g33k, who is Cisco?

I've seen that guy in the skyline shirt somewhere before. Anyone know who he is?

I havent seen any footage. Where are the files located? -
Nice! Ive got a very similar setup. My high boost is set at somewhere between 10 and 11psi where it peaks at 270ish rwhp. I like this turbo a lot better than my high flowed R33 turbo. The car is pure pleasure to drive on even low boost (250ish rwhp @ 7psi) Quick question, my AFR is very very constant according to my dyno graph but yours seems to be like a dogs breakfast. Is that because you dont have a Z32AFM as I do? Sorry I cant post my graphs - they are sitting at work and I dont have a scanner. PS. Merry Christmas and drive sensibly over the Christmas break!

I know the rest of the guys, but who is the guy in the blue shirt?

After the tolls I took the Macqurie Uni turnoff, pity I didn't have a CB otherwise I would have let you know. Thanks for leading me back to familiar territory. Was it just me, or did everyone who attended feel strange taking corners on the way home without drifting around them? The afternoon session was just as good. Aaron took a liking to my car as did the guy in the red MR2 - he was a top bloke, jump in with me and taught me how to be a better driver. Thanks Ken! That was the first time i've been in a GTR, from where I was sitting in the passenger seat they are bloody hard to get sideways - same goes for the BMW. Brendan - you've heard this from me before, but your drifting on the first course we did was all class! gtst4 - I dont understand how you got sideways so easily when you were in awd mode. Does the R33 GTR have a more advanced system? Jason? - It was hard to tell yours and gtst4's cars apart. Did you end up figuring out why your car spun in a circle every time you turned a corner? XEQUTOR - Have you got your rain jacket back yet? It was quite a lot in the afternoon session after you guys left. When can we purchase video footage of the day? -
