two40: Nah, christian and nick took a look at my lights but from what nick remembers of his s2, there is only one plug and it can only go in one way. sometime next week i'll take it to Envy during my lunch time to get it fixed. I left early friday night (you probably saw me turn around two40 (since i was next to you)). I had to get up in 3 hours for work. I also saw ronin, another skyline - maybe it was jimbo?, and nick (who was looking directly at my car trying to figure out if he knew me). They were all stop at the lights close to the start of mona vale road. Just wondering, when did Jimbo turn up and what was his excuse for being late? I will be turning up tonight. Anyone want to turn up earlier to archer car park to fix my front bar and blinker/spotty? - When the FMIC was put on, they didnt put the LHS of the front bar on properly, and because i'm a bumbling fool I dont trust myself to clip it back on. - The problem with my blinker/spotty is that they are irish - they are working back-the-front. I turn the blinker on and the spotty flashes. Help would be much appreciated. Mark

Are s1 and s2 silver skylines 'spose to be different shades? I compared mine with Brendan's car and either mine or his was lighter. Pity Jimbo2000 doesnt have a s2 because I wouldn't mind a carbon bonnet. Anyone have pics of a silver skyline with carbon bonnet? Mark

Andrews car got fixed today I heard. They stiched it back up where it had split in two. I was thinking a Trust front bar (after seeing merlis) and I like the veilside kit except for the front bar. Would the trust front bar and the veilside kit gtr80y has look seamless on a s2? Mark

I've just got myself an IT job in sydney after completing my science degree at the end of last year. I applied for 3 jobs and got offered a job at two of them. My brother completed his degree at the same time but did computer science and was top 15% student but can't get a job at all. I think he's now working at McDonalds full time. Mark

I got my car dyno'd this week and it reached a max of 175.1hp. The line on the graph stoped at 5500rpm, I cant remember what run this was, but the car was hitting boost cut all the time. I'll try and attach a scanned image of it when I go to gf place later so someone can explain if my car is running ok or not. Mark

I got my mechanic to go for a spin in the car to set the boost controler up (after i got my spark plugs changed). I was working fine at 1bar on the road but didn't like 1.1bar. However, that afternoon on the dyno the fuel cut was happening at 0.9bar. As sugested by the dyno guy, i'll wait until i get the computer and the HKS cam gears before I put it on the dyno again. They say it should pull 270hp - that sound right? Mark

pashak: i've got a high flowed turbo so it isn't really stock, it can handle 1bar+

My car is doing the exact same thing, I got new spark plugs put in today gapped .8mm. Its been on the dyno yesturday and today and turning the boost down from 1bar isn't helping. I have a standard ECU which will be replaced by a powerFC as soon as I get around to ordering one. Yesturday I only managed 175.1hp on the dyno. Tommorow I might have another go. Mark

Jay - I've never had the standard wheels so I have no idea how much wider the gtt ones are. I have 225 on the front and 235 on the rear if that helps at all? They fine, the tyres I have on it are 40 profile. I'd rather have a set of deep dish 18's though. Mark

Everyone says HPC is expensive but i've never seen any quotes for it. What sort of money would a place be asking for do to the parts Al mentioned: Ex. Manifold, IC piping, Plenum, Ex. housing of turbo, Front/Dump pipe. Has anyone ever got a quote for and HPC coating? Mark

Miles: I can wait for delivery. Where can I get it from in the US? The install includes parts and labour. He mentioned he had to make a custom do-hicky to install it. Mark
