  1. Dj: the standard s2 front bar is like the one to the left.
  2. I never got a good look at your engine Brendan. The first time was at Chatswood when you took me for a ride on the cruise, and the 2nd time was australia day when it was too damn hot to look at/remember anything. Take a pic with your new camera and email it to me: [email protected] Doc: I only saw yours briefly about 6 months ago at burger King. Have you got a better pic of it than that original one you've already posted? If I loose my patience with sandpaper i'll cheat and use Brendan's drill attachment trick. Thank you. Mark
  3. Thanks for the reply rev210. As mentioned in one of your other threads, I haven't tried the 1/4 mile. I just felt left out not having 1/4 mile time in my sig so i put some figures up that i should easly beat... a PB is on the cards. I might go with a stock r33 rim and get a 55 or 60 profile 235 or so. I want a street tyre at a budget so are there any suggestions what to get and where to buy them? Mark
  4. I've got some free time on my hands so i've decided to start polishing my engine. Today after reading another thread where Doctor mentioned using 1200 grade sandpaper I went out today and bought some. Are there any suggestions/tips/warnings before I start? What else do I need to make it shiny (and stay shiny)? Mark
  5. I am aiming at getting a decent 1/4mile time in my s2 R33 gtst and would like to know what rim and tyre combination I should choose just for the 1/4 mile (on a budget). Should I buy 2 ratty standard gtst rims and put a wide tyre on it like 255? Mark
  6. What does a ultrasonic clean cost, and where can I get it done in sydney? Mark
  7. I just bought a brand new Profec B (black) from Nengun last week and a day or two ago I installed it. The price was $576 which included everything needed to hook it up. Going through Nengun was GREAT and i'll be doing it again with a powerFC. My car came with an apexi boost guage so the lack of a digital readout was not necesary. I'm currently running 7psi on the low setting and 13.5psi on the high setting. This will change once I get it on the dyno to make sure everything is running ok. Mark
  8. Is the following item (From $495 exchange) combined with a lightened flywheel worth worrying about if i'm going to keep below 250rwkw? or should I/can I just get a lightened flywheel with the standard clutch? "UAS Modified sports clutch with 40% increased clamping pressure and 6 finger cinted bronze Cerametalic button clutch plate. Grips well lasts a long time and not savage on take up. Anti Burst Casting (Nodular Iron) pressure plate. We can rebuild and improve clutches for any car. Supplied with new thrust bearing. Exchange for 300zx ,R33 GTS, R32 GTS-T ,Silvia, 180SX MR2, Supra." Mark
  9. I've been quoted today for the following: In tank pump (600hp) $380 Rising rate fuel pressure regulator $200 To have it installed $850 or $800 cash. Am I getting the correct gear at the right price? What questions should I ask my mechanic? Regards, Mark
  10. Would it be wise going for a used clutch as from the prices i've seen on new ones they are close to $2k When do you think the standard item will suck the sandshoe? Mark
  11. What does a clutch cost? I guess my car will be going close to 200rwkw eventually and i'd like to put aside enough $$ incase i start having problems with the standard item. Anyone have suggestions for a car that will be aiming for low 13/high 12s on the odd occasion while also being very driveable to work each day? Mark
  12. Macka: You are able to achieve 12s 1/4 with those mods listed? What does it cost for the clutch because i've basicly got the rest from the list. Also, what boost are you running? rev210: What was the reason you went for the Ogura flywheel instead another brand? If I upgrade the clutch i'll put a lightened flywheel in as well. Mark
  13. I'm also in the market for a fuel system upgrade. Can someone tell me where I can get (cheap): 1. a Bosch 044 Motorsport in tank fuel pump 2. a SARD adjustable fuel pressure regulator (or maybe pete's one?) If possible let me know what sort of money id be up for. Do I need anything else such as pipes, hose clamps etc? Currently have FMIC, full exhaust, high flow turbo, EBC. Mark
  14. Ahh, sorry about that Shell. With that hotmail account I get a massive amount of junk mail. I select all the emails, and then my checking the 'from' field I unselect the ones that have come from people I know. Looks like i've deleted the email by mistake. If its not too much trouble could you change it to the optus email address for me please? [email protected]. I assume christian told you that i've paid - you looked too busy on the 'gong cruise so he took the money. regards, Mark
  15. Mark=MRK25T is correct. I didnt get any emails about memebership. My email address is [email protected] Mark
  16. I wish I could make it but i've run out of money (filled up at the petrol station 2 days ago and didn't have enough money to pay). I hope to see some dyno figures up here along with 1/4 mile time and mods so I can guage what I need to do to get 12sec. Mark
  17. Rev210, I haven't been down the 1/4 mile yet, I just felt left out not having power figures or 1/4 mile times in my sig. What sorting out do you mean? Mark
  18. I also am aiming at high 12sec 1/4. i've got turbo back exhaust, high flow turbo and cat, pod, FMIC, and profec b EBC. Saving for larger fuel pump, fuel pressure reg and a powerFC. Would 12s be possible when finished? Mark
  19. I've got the standard clutch still. I'll do a search on the forums about clutch upgrades and what would suit my car. I know rev200 (or similar nick) recommends doing a lightened flywheel at the same time (~$800 for the 4.8kg flywheel he quotes). If you (or anyone) has some advice on a clutch, let me know before I make a mistake. Mark
  20. Steve, I was going to get my car boosted, get the fuel system installed, and get the powerFC installed and tuned at the same time. I think it will work out cheaper if I get it all done at once instead of staggering it (both in time without the car and money). My profec B is on its way from Nengun, I now need advice what parts I need now. Thanks Steve and Meggala
  21. Thanks meggala, Could you tell me exactly what fuel pump and adjustable reg I should get and maybe ball park figures if you have any. Mark
  22. After searching for injectors I came accross this old thread which is relevant to my question. Today I was at my mechanics asking him how I could get some more power out of me s2 r33 gtst. He said he would sell me his r33 gtr injectors from his own car and would get them serviced and installed for about 80-100$ each. He also said he would sell me a fuel pump for about $300 fitted, and lastly he would sell me a fuel pressure regulator for about $160. All up about $1200. My aim is to get high 12sec for 1/4mile which he said would be possible with my current mods (turbo back exhaust, hi flow cat, high flowed turbo, pod, FMIC, profec b EBC which will probably be set around the 1bar mark) and a powerFC which will follow after I get fuel right. Does anyone have suggestions or comments on what i'm planning on doing because i'd love some feedback if i'm making a mistake. Mark

Do they get rid of stale cigarette? and does the entire Japanese population smoke? MArk
  24. I'm always parking near mac centre during the day, thankfully i've got a good alarm etc. which could stop this 15yo but may not work with more experienced lowlifes. Mark
  25. Looked ok on the drivers side, nice and shiny just like you kept it. Looked like a young European guy like you and I driving it, maybe between 20-25yo. I noticed the stickers still remain, did you sell it with those rims? Mark
