What sort of figures are people getting with tuned Power FCs under similar conditions? I'm aiming at getting one in december after my final exam ever at uni (if I pass). I have a air filter, exhaust, razo sticker, and standard boost. Mark

I needed to get a larger clamp for the battery I got this morning - the little one wouldnt span the width of the battery. I might take a pic of the battery if my gf is at home so you can see what I put in. Luckly I have a auto electrician friend who did it for me and he had a clamp was able to fit (with modifications). It will be interesting when I install my amp after my uni exams, the power connecter thing was a very tight fit. How does everyone check the water levels in their battery, it looks like the only way is to take the whole thing out? Mark

This morning I went and bought a large 11 plate battery to replace the tiny 9 plate one. Took an hour to get it to fit because the connections where too large for the power cables connectors. Starting the car has improved 100% and i'm very happy. Mark

My battery died today so I need a new one. Any suggestions what I should get? Mark

Does the DTM BMW club have a web page, I think I spotted a www address on their "uniforms"? They had a guy in that red BMW taking footage all day. Nick: I locked the toilet door and when I was ready to come out I twisted the handle/knob and it just kept on turning. I waited until the tall guy driving the silver WRX left (so it didn't seem like I was some deviate) and then climbed over. To the guys that got lost with me going to north beach: why were we heading south? =) Mark

At the servo that we met up with the BMW club (the one in the above panoramic photo franks took), I managed to lock myself in the toilet and had to escape over the top. =) How did the BMW with the turbo go? I didn't see it again after the servo. Mark

Yeah Brendan, that was my car parked in the front yard. My gf had her car parked up the drive taking my spot. There was a splatering of blood all over the front of her car including the windscreen. It looked like someone had put some blood in those water spray things and squirted it onto her car - i.e. it looked like the blood was aplied with a bit of force. She hasn't hit anything, i'm betting it was someone from harbord pub. Mark

Where can I get a 2 way radio for cruises (northern beaches area)? I don't know how one works or what features I need. Mark

Will disconnecting the boost guage inside the engine bay afftect the boost guages readings in the future? Mark

I already tried unscrewing it dave. The nut left the thread and started taping a new thread in the plastic covering of this wire - so i unsrewed it as far as it would go. Any other suggestions before I disconnect it from within the engine (which will be a pain). Mark

I bought a cup holder thing for the apexi boost guage that is already installed on my car. Tonight I tried to fit the cup holder but I have got stuck - there is a thick wire that is attached to the boost guage and it looks like it isn't meant to come off (i need to thread this wire through the cup). Does this mean I have to un-hook the cable in the engine, thread the wire through the cup, then re-tread the wire into the engine bay again? In the dark I think I folowed this wire to a transparent orange object that looks like a tiny UFO and then continues. Any help please?

Can someone tell me if it is hard to fix the lights in the dash. Every time I go over a dump in the road (when I have my headlights on) the lights on my dash turn from being on to off (and visa versa). This means at times I have no idea how fast im going at night so I want to fix it soonish. Is it just locating the loose wire, or is it a bigger problem that I should just let an auto electrician look at. blinkers, etc. work fine all the time Mark

I'll be after some window tinting in about 3 weeks time if anyone wants to use me in a group buy. I'm after the best UV protection 99%? while also wanting my car to be as cool as possible this sumer - must be legal. A window tinting place near the Northern Beaches would be good but I can borrow mums car for the day if necessary. Mark

I'm after a BOV for my s2 gts-t and I want to be happy with the noise it makes. I've been in Pranks car but inside the cabin I couldn't apreciate the sound his BOV makes. Is there any records of the different BOVs on R33s somewhere? Maybe nissaner show me what hes is like at uni? I've read there could be problems with certain types of BOV if you dont have an aftermarket computer. Any recomendations? I'm after the whip sound I hear people talk about. Mark

Nope, don't think it was me. I try to avoid driveways like the plague. I'm always scraping on driveways and speed bumps. I've got to get use to having a low car. I'm normaly parked on the side of the street. How long until your skyline is on the road? I haven't been for a cruise yet (only had the car for a week) so i'd be keen to when you get your car. Mark

Should I buy a power FC or similar to get better fuel economy out of my SII ? i'm getting around the 300 mark as well. I'd like to be doing 400+ so I don't have to fill up twice a week. Mark
